That's because they drafted Wallace..they should have drafted lively like we all wanted and used mann off the bench but instead they had to go for another guard... Still great season but they definitely need to address inside help.
Giddey actually did say he was frustrated, but then he took a good look at himself, accepted his fate, and then decided to be a better teammate. Also donated $1000 and got other okc staff to donate to a sick kid whose dad openly criticized him over and over. Good bloke.
Muscala was also an option we didn't try vs Mavs, could have even used Bizmack at times. Rockets already signed Adams but they have 3 centers now as they thought Landale was a bust but he came good after a slow comeback from injury. (he got way less minutes than Hayward)
Hayward looked like he was playing not to mess up. But nonetheless, I still agree with the trade because the limits of the traded pieces who were decent offensively but not defensively and vice versa. I wish that those pieces were traded for a solid power forward or center.
Should’ve kept poku but sadly there had to be some locker room issues, i only say because he walked away and looked back at the charlotte jersey swap thing… dude really could’ve helped in this series

A chance to come in and motivate, stimulate, elevate, get behind a great team and possibly win a CHAMPIONSHIP, all at the same time shows the moment was too big for you. CP3 came in with much less and was able to do almost all of these. I hope you see that your excitement, enthusiasm and DOG could and maybe should have been at a different level. At no point in the minutes Haywood played did he even show a glimpse of a champion. I said it at the time and I will say it now, we should have kept Micic.
The Owner said it was a bad move Coach forced his minutes he never really got into a flow and IMO he cut into production of Wiggins #heaterp who seemed to defer out of fear of benching and it happened that way

Wasted trade the thunderless have not gotten a trade right since Shai years ago Giddy is a liability his lack of a shot lacks floaters shot trade for inside player can't keep wasting trades or missing on first round picks

I thought the Gordon Hayward trade was bad from the beginning. We need to trade him and Giddy away to someone for a big to play the 4 or 5 with Chet.

He averaged 17 minutes at OKC, that's plenty for someone to show their worth.. I was always against the trade but everyone said it was for cap space.
Mavs fan here, Bertans is not bad to have off bench if he was making vet min to maybe 6 mill. Fast release and willing shooter.

He was TERRIBLE in the minutes he PLAYED! AND -he was a sieve on defense!
He was a great defender that’s the only reason he kept getting in the game when he wasn’t scoring

Poku had maybe a handful of okay games and rode the bench the majority of his tenure with us. Def wouldnt have helped us win the series.

He got a nice big paycheck out of it. One of the highest payed players on the team for sitting on the bench, not a bad deal, I would take that job.
