So nice to have someone who FULLY understands what’s going on, the interactions between different items and is ARTICULATE enough to explain to all of us! And no sensitive ego like some on here. Full on expert and professional. Really great addition to off-road YTube vids. Many thanks
In 2018, I did a trip around Australia in my very simple 78 troopy setup and I can honestly say, I didn't need all the whistles and bells. I lived in my trusty troopy for 4 months without having to spend a million bucks. I survived with no problems and I had a great time. Everything these days has gotten overly complicated and expensive (it's big business). If you can't afford an over-the-top expensive setup like this HEINER build example, don't let it stop you from getting out and exploring our backyard, just do it, and you will have loads of fun. On the other hand, if you've got a fist full of cash then let nothing stop you.
Amaaaaazing Looks like I’d need to have a training course before I’d go camping. At the moment if I run out of hot water it’s because I knocked my billy over or the fire has gone out.
Great Built Heiner. I am big fan of your installations and videos. Question. Where to get these side installation panels where you mounted the DC/DC chargers? You mention quickpitch in the video but I could find any like these in tthe QP shop.
Hi Stefan, these are not available in the Quick Pitch shop. You would need to call them and tell/ show them what you're after and they may be able to make for you. Believe this is the first they've made.
How do the batteries go with that inverter? Rated at 175a continuous discharge vs. 3000w inverter? Or do you just avoid running any loads bigger than approx 2000w 240v? Thank you
nice clean set up ,but why is most of the weight on the driver's side ,wouldn't have better weight distribution locating the fridge on the passengers side.
Very interested in the cabinets in the rear of the troopy Are they aluminimum and where could I puchase them from.I am afraid to ask the cost for a similar fittout
These people have lost their way, camping has gone way over the top.....its all about money money and more money $$$$$$$ ,,,,, what's happened to the simple life....
Do you know how many flights and 5 star hotel rooms complete with a chef you could get for $140K I know I've forgotten about the fuel and maintenance costs, but I'll use that money to hire a 4x4 and beat the shit outta it at the destination, because sure as shit it would be crap as a daily driver. I do appreciate your skills however.

WHAT A GREAT SET UP FOR A TROOPY👍👍
Wow ... what a great setup, thanks for sharing
What an awesome build! 🙂
Fully packed with great gadgets, but - apart from undies & socks - your client probably needs a trailer for the rest of the gear… 😉
krasser Haarschnitt
Nice build
great build! Only thing missing is some insulation and a diesel heater! Now it is only ready to drive almost anywhere! :D
Haha good point! We put Diesel heaters in those setups before they are so powerful that you can have a sauna anywhere.

Usually people who do these builds have another car as a daily driver
