I think it would be interesting to see a video discussing achieving consitency in your playing (improvised and non-improvised). It can be frustrating when you know you can play well when you're in the zone, but it doesn't feel like it's reliably always there. I really admire the studio guys who can walk in and nail everything in one or two takes. It would be interesting to hear your ideas around this aspect of playing and practice in a future video.
Now that I think about my Modal vs Chordal question a bit more… Maybe I just think of your style as rather modern and notice the modal aspects more. Thanks for always being willing to share!
