Congratulations Matěj Balga, one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on "Magic Bus", gave me an idea of how it felt like Chris felt in this place alone.
Sadly, the bus has been removed June 2020. They could have kept the bus in its spot and just build a bridge over that river to make it easy for the visitors. Christopher's spirit will live on anyway

As far as I have observed, late April / very early May. Chris McCandless crossed Tek coincidentally at the very beginning of May, too. After unsuccessful tries to cross it back, he died in August. In September, somebody found him in the bus. So September may be a bit better again, but I can't tell really. Tek changes fast, it is very unpredictable. Regarding the crossability only, some people prefer winter times...
It's too bad they move the bus all they needed to do was to build a cool little bridge over both Rivers Sean Penn could a pony up some money Bono let's take the bus pour choice

Instead of Chriss burning and giving away his money he should of bought things to eat like that he wouldnt of went hungry. You know how gross it is to kill one of those animals, Cut them open clean the corpes and eat it? Yuck. He didnt do it right thats why he died. No expetience what so ever on how to survive out there So buy cookies/ Bread/ Drinks Buy things to eat.

too late. Alaska National Guard moved the bus today.

It was just a Chinese GoPro copy (SJCAM M10) for 50$ - for that money it's miraculously good though...
