It's a sad situation in the time lost. Mom did the best she could as a young woman alone. She harbored no ill against him, she just wasn't sure & followed poor advice as a young woman. Later, She did try to find him to let him know it was a possibility because she didn't know if it was fact & wanted them to confirm together before telling Cassandra. She didn't blurt out unfounded "facts" to her daughter, she acted to protect her. Now, There are 2 loving parents here who did their best & will continue to do so. What a beautiful reunion.
Queen. Yes, yes yes! Totally awesome, right. What was even more rewarding was not seeing either one belittling the other. There's sooo many things to take into consideration for the 'child' having a child. Most parents didn't want to become a grandparent in their 30's. I was hoping that the granddaughter was a little girl so that he could have at least benefited from some childhood at least. But as his daughter stated the inner child has peace and whether an adult or not that little girl will come out overtime in conversations while making memories.
These are my most favorite shows. I can't imagine what it feels like to not know who your parents are. I think these shows are so important. It reminds me to be grateful to know where I come from which should be a basic right as a human being.
Wow. I've been there. My mother finally confessed that My first Dad wasn't my biological father. It took 43 years for the truth to come out. Unfortunately, my biological father passed away in 2019.

I'm not angry with my mother for keeping this 43 year old secret from me. She often operated out of fear. So, I forgive her for not telling me the truth.
As a mom you don’t want to hurt your kids but 25 years is a long time I have 2 daughters and my oldest is almost 23 but I know the man who was raising her was not her dad but I promise I will tell her when she was 16 and that’s exactly what I did it happened wish her all the best
I will never fully understand why women don’t want to find out who is the father of their children. It’s definitely for selfish reason because you are literally preventing your child from knowing their other half. Regardless of who or what the father is, the child deserves to know!

I know this feeling all to well on my 17th bday my mama pulls into a driveway she said we were going to see her friend it was almost 2 hours away we pulled into a driveway and my mama said to me so we're at my friends house but her brother is such ans such and he's your biological father my jaw dropped and I laughed like crazy telling her she was crazy and done lost her mind that my daddy was my daddy there was no other man she said yes there is ans it's him ...well she was dating this man again but once he got on dope and my mom left him cause she's never drank smoked or done drugs and he was abusive and a totally different person on dope...then she tells me he isn't my dad so at that point I'm like so it's been 2 Years u told me he was mybdad I never said anything to my daddy about it ever and wouldn't have ....but the thing is my daddy died in 2013 he was my best friend and then this dude my mom said was my dad he passed away earlier this year ....
