Fun fact: Glaucus actually do torpor with their bite attack. It works like the Scorpion where you need to need to space the bites out because the effect doesn't stack, and the potency is based on how charged up it is in biotoxin.

Not only were Moses shallow dwelling, but they actually used to surface for air because they were mammals. They had a set of lungs so yeah, they actually came out of the water and beach themselves for a little bit and then pull themselves back in least that’s what we’ve theorized anyway.
They were aquatic reptiles, not mammals, but yeah
They were NOT mammals. Reptiles cannot breathe in water.
The quality of these modded creatures in asa is so good
15:50 that’s actually not true at all. Deinosuchus and sarcosuchus are exactly the same speed. I tested it myself. It’s just the sarcos animations are much faster while the animations for the deinosuchus are much heavier. So it tricks you thinking it’s actually slower.
Since the animations have different speeds would that make them have different speeds?

@@SaxualiTea no. The animation is just the movement of the model. The sarco is a lot more nimble yes. It’s definitely better at making sharp turns. Take a Rex, spino and theri for example. They all have the same attack speed, twice per second. But the spino seems faster because its moving its entire body and the movement is rapid.

This is everything the Mosa should have been. Morrow does amazing work.
So the agile attack hits twice, the death roll does the damage multiple times, the damage number just doesn't move so you can't see it as multiple hits, and the saddle with the bubble on it means you don't need a scuba tank, also clears up the vision just like goggles
Pull off the scuba tank when ridding
I found that luring the Tylo to a small cove makes for better tranqing, though I’d bring gates just in case
Syntac you silly, the moment I saw the bubble I was like hmmm, perhaps you can go under water without a scuba tank. Then I saw the message that says that xD.
U can also level the tylos venom types like the anamolocaris and the saddle works like a scooba
I found an asc shasta saddle in the south ice cave drops. Mind you, it was 10k poly/electronics/35k metal....so probably not worth crafting.

when I first started playing ark which was about a month or two before cryopods were added any semi land creature that a person used in the ocean say like a sarco when you dismounted it it would automatically go to the surface which really sucked when deep in the ocean
@Syntac I had to up the supply drop quality a bit but I have been getting ascendant Nothosaurus saddles in red supply drops. Not sure if it's even possible to craft them though bc they are insanely expensive. If I remember correctly it cost about 10k hide....
Just as a note: 10k hide for a good saddle is not that much. It is on the cheaper end, as many others cost in the 20k-30k range (I have a 274 sarco saddle that costs 23k, and a 325 saber costing 28k). Pretty much requires TEK replicator to craft without a stack mod
last time i saw the tylo torpor venom in action it was really op so i do think you should try knoking out some creatures with it to see if it is still good

The deadly venom does 10% of the creature’s max health, while the torpor one does like 20%, so they’re really good for taming aquatic creatures

I just thought about this is the switch version of ark cooked? With them dropping the original and all, i haven't heard anything about ascended being on switch. I could be wrong tho
I'm still on the island, I have scoured the map and have yet to see any of the three creatures Gigantoraptor, Xiphactanus, or Deinosuchus anywhere, is there something I'm missing? Can make all the saddles but can't find the creatures.

Idk if it’s a bug with the mod or not but my Tylos on my ark have a pack buff, so if u get more than one they get the pack buff

I got a nothosaurus saddle out of a red drop on both the volcano island and in the snow biome
Moro does such fantastic work, but the tylosaurus feels a little overturned for more vanilla servers. It’s a shame because this is what the mosa should have been from the start

Had to laugh at your "expensive" Tylosaurus saddle. I picked up an ascendant Shastasaurus ( submarine ) saddle yesterday and it was 61K metal as well as 10k of several other things. I think the best thing I can do is make a trophy cabinet for the Blueprint and leave it at that.
They do have saddles I’ve found one in a drop but very expensive
