Syn you should do Atlantis in the underwater air bubble close to you
The fact that the Livyatan managed to legit hide in SHALLOW water right underneath Syntac's path, despite how big it is, is definitely one of the jumpscare moments in Ark.
I watched a German ARK letsplay and they didnt know Leeds exist and when they were in the sea with their raft and got attacked, in of them thats very scared of sharks and deep water screamed so loud, that my little Brother woke up and cried, I felt so bad xD

Alright, that Microraptor into Pego combo in the beginning was perhaps one of the funniest Ark moments I've seen in a while. The comedic timing was impeccable, I swear I can HEAR the Pego saying "yoink".
Syntac swimming directly around the island that has the Argentavis spawns on it is funny 😂
The island with the rock pillars in the middle is where they spawn the most. Also where you can find anklyo and metal nodes
Naming your sarco raft after what happened to your previous rafts is ironic when almost swimming into the whale 😂
At least this one has a fighting chance.
I agree with you about the textures/colors. Everything seems to be homogenized, now. Volcano island and Half-Burnt Island used to LOOK dangerous, burnt, and just dead. Now it looks kinda like everything else on the map except for the occasional pool of lava.
I mean lava can create a type of soil that is actually very fertile, so itd make sense for it to have plants and stuff.
A perfect way to de-stress during layovers when your traveling alone! You are amazing syntac!

I'm glad some of the mod creatures still respect one of the Argy's most useful abilities.... picking things up. I'm also never gonna stop crying about Wildcard nerfing that ability into oblivion.
The super spyglass mod does the same thing without all the extra stuff that nucleus has plus allows you to see what is in eggs and gestating babies b4 for they come out

Right as I felt like there was nothing to watch, Syntac came to the aid!
The new volcanic island actually makes much more sense then the old one. Like volcanic rock and soil is really fertile, its just realistic that there is jungle (compare it to Hawaii). Fresh lavafows do actually have different colours and textures after hardening, like black, grey or brown, depending on the depth they rose from. I just don’t know, the arks (Spoilers for somebody) are these floating islands, so there has to be a system in the ark that melts the existing rock, so basically its always the same lava, which also means it has the same color everytime. It should however be different from the other textures, since it has to be broken down by the plants to become soil, which would also result in a Color change most of the time.
I appreciate your honesty about the paid DLC being in the game to harass you to buy it. Feels terrible having to deal with pyromanes and not have the ability to tame them. In my opinion they should only be in the game if you pay for the DLC.

I play on Xbox and they are in the game but can’t purchase the mod, it just doesn’t show up. Does that mean I can’t tame them?

This was such a good episode! That is the most beautiful Argie I ever seen. Plus, I liked you exploring the other areas of the map. i didn't know that other island was even there. It was such a cool place!
I really hope you keep using the spider as a mount Syntac, at least for a bit. Maybe not the most practical or strong but if you can master the jumps it might be a fun way to explore from pillar to pillar across the map. It was fun getting to see it this episode after all the work to get them. Loving the series and i look forward to more episodes!

FYI Evos base is left of your Waypoint for the beaver dams and there are all resources and Argys etc up there. Your Sarco is WAY faster than the whales so they really aren't that big a threat. Got your flyer so you can start the heavy harvesting, can't wait to see what kind of base you build.

The pyromane also protects you from leeches when it’s on your shoulder. It’s a pretty ez tame if you just knock out every Dino you see til you have like 5 or 6 in one area.
I've noticed that the two or three highest stats pre tame are the ones that get the taming points, so they'll still be the highest stats post tame.

Syntac there are plenty of rocks in the air bubble under the water you could get stone from and have like a secondary base
This is when you spawn in the captain's hat and wear it just to upset your neighbor. Then your neighbor kills everything in the ocean trying to get one.
When you see multiple Dino’s of the same level, they are just a pack of babies that have grown up

ARK Mobile my beloved. For a very long time that’s all I could play. I always wondered how Syntac and the rest leveled up so dang quick when I was struggling for days to push past level 50 on easy and casual mode. After a while I realized the mobile version is based off the first few years ARK existed, and was not getting any real updates besides bugs and patches and dungeons and eerie events
The island with the hidden cove would be an awsome spot to build the secrete hideout of the pirates from the pirates of the carribean movies. Lol

Becarful around the volcano with that agent travis there i lost a 125 to the pyro, and i was way high. I lost all my tames over there rebuilding now. Great video.
I'm definitely using that jumping spider mod on my aberration server when I create it. It was sooooo made for the map and should have won the vote.
On the Lava Island: I think they were going more for a realistic look. Think about Hawaii...it is not all charred black because volcanic soil is very fertile. Most of Hawaii is beautiful. It initially threw me off that it wasn't like the lava island on the original Center, but it is definitely growing on me.
@Syntac I know you do not want too many mods on the server, but you should put the Puller mod for quality of life. Acts as the old s+ pulling did so you don't have to transfer items to craft from the boxes.
Love these videos just to let you know Argys and beaver are abundant on the floating island in the center just be careful it's a little dangerous

I think the Pyromane is upsetting because of how sudden it was, I kinda miss the implementation of stuff from the end of ASE, where it was like 2 new mounts and a new shoulder pet per map, and you knew what they were before going into the map. Everything has just been so sporadic in ASA, I feel like it would help a ton if they could meter things out better . . . but that would require a consistent time table.

The issue with the textures of the rocks being so samey makes me feel like WildCard bought 1 megascans rock pack and that's all they are using for every map

Even just some black sand beaches would help the volcano island. They seem to have no color options for rock either. I could step in my yard and find six different types of rock. These maps shouldn’t just be sandbbrown stone and sand brown mountains.

on the Pyromane talk i have a feeling the DLC was WC's peace offering for Microsoft, Sony or both to have the DLC Free on there stores. also regarding the changes for Volcano Island they were probably approved by EviLMrFrank considering he is the Senior Level Designer at Wildcard now
Just seems lazy to have the same texture throughout the whole map. ASE had variety. ASA is bland
You need to try the super spyglass mod. With this mod you can check the stat points of wild dinos,tamed dinos and eggs!

Pretty sure Argy's spawn in red wood around mountain, perhaps check there.
Argys are hard to tame ever since I increased dino spawn rates, there's a raptor there to ruin my tames, I wish you luck, especially since you have modded dinos to deal with as well😅
Lava is a thing that can help the soil grow not make it burn or chard that’s probably why they did that
I alos keep wondering if I'm using gamma on the center, I think its just a thing with the map, perhaps related to removing the old light filter?
I mean I hate the new color of lava island but I do like that it has more life to it and the rest of the map has had a nice glow up bur maybe they'll recolor some of the rocks later
I prefer the name "Chuzzle" for the spider, after the infamous game about the fuzzy balls.
For the Argy I would love "Bluebell" due to its deep blue feathers.
Just curious on ur thoughts about the visual storage mod I find it a fun and interesting change over vanilla storage options

This map is beautiful and i hope it doesnt become a ghost town when the rest of them release. Cant wait to see abberation in unreal 5 and all the other maps aswell, the technology is only getting better.
On the negative though i agree alot of the terrain on the center seems to be copy and pasted generic rocky towers and cliffs. I couldnt believe black sands had no black sand. In ase id circle the volcanic island taming rexs because due to its lack of popularity was generally free of traffic or competition.

My thing with micro raptors is that torpor already exists. Why have the stunned effect, and torpor at the same time... That makes no sense. I feel like i wouldnt mind it if they had to hit me like 5 times to knock me out. Just like other things that do that.

Try a red drop with some soup, and polymer. The outer drops on The Center are terrible.
