I was 300 kms away from home with a clogged carb on my 72 r60 at 8:30pm at night in bear country I recalled John's flat tire trip. As I sat at a gas station and began removing the carb components under the stars and thought of John over my shoulder as I felt some despair on sleeping outdoors with the bugs.
I got the carbs cleaned, bike points set and rebuilt before dark and as I shifted into 4th at 75mph in the direction of home I thought how John's lessons were great encouragement YOU can do it. Never mind the critics trust your intuition and abilities even if you don't yet know you have them. John was helpful when ever I was stumped with a Trumpet bike or maybe a bit stressed out running a small biz for bikes. Find a Beezer for me to ride John we can do the Dales run! He may say Ride for me but let me go. Loved by many here in Canada. We live for him now enjoy every day.

I'm very sad to hear that John has passed away. Thank you for broadcasting his service. I went to John's UA-cam page to tell him that I had finally started to assemble my Bonneville here in Canada, after tearing it down about 8 years ago to rebuild and paint it. I have been fighting cancer for quite some time and that has held up my progress. I told John how much I enjoyed watching his videos of his road trips. It felt like I was there. I have almost the same bike as John. His videos and comments in the forums have been very helpful to guys all over the world. I bought and rebuilt my 1971 Bonneville for the first time when I was only 17. I'm 56 now and I still enjoy watching his videos. John will be missed by guys from all over the globe. I wish that I could have had the opportunity to not just talk to John from over the internet, but I wish I could have been a friend. Such a nice man will be missed by many. God bless you all, family and friends.

Thank you for sharing John’s farewell. I’m in tears sitting here with my morning cuppa in Putnam Valley NY. Never knew John personally, but his UA-cam videos have helped tremendously with my Triumph. Glad that he had so many good friends. Godspeed LUNMAD, you’ll be in my thoughts as I ride through my beloved Catskills. Ian C, ex.pat Londoner.

I was about to do some work on my 67 Bonnie and went, as usual, to check the best approach by looking at Lunmad’s videos. So sad to see that he has passed on. Although I’ve never met him, he has been my guru and motivator for the last decade. His videos are by far the most informative on the internet and will still be treasured by those of us with classic Triumphs. Having watched the funeral service, I now feel that I know him better. RIP Lunmad.

My 71 tiger is on the road today because of his videos. Every Sunday morning I would fix a cup of coffee, watch a video and then head into the shop to work on what I had just learned. What started as a project to simply get the bike running turned into a complete rebuild. He gave me the curiosity and the confidence to go way beyond what was needed to where I was doing maintenance jobs just to follow along with the videos and keep the Sunday morning ritual going. After a year there just wasn't anything left to do so I rode it out of the shop and it has been running like stink ever since. Thank you.

Things will never be the same again.
Watched yet another of Lunmads videos where he's off camping in the dales.
Can't accept that we will never hear the roar of that Bonnie coming into the car park of our pub again. No more nights talking about the daftest of things.
    Miss you mate.
