About learning the notes, there are tabs around on the internet if you can read them. You can watch other people covering the song to see what they are playing and their interpretation. Also you can watch live performances of the band to learn to play if the video is appropriate for it. And last and for most, try to use your ears for they may be the most desirable feature to develop in music.
