Dave, I appreciate this conversation with Justin. His life’s struggle with hearing was so overwhelming, it brought me to tears. I have been watching you for the last month in half talking with various employees and others on your pod cast. I am so excited to be getting these new Starkey Genesis AI, ITC - R, Bluetooth HA's next week. I am an old Veteran who received my first pair of HA’s from VA that were Starkey’s over the ear with replaceable batteries and plastic rubberize domes. I have had two other brands over the years. Had a hearing test last month, VA doctor recommended these, so have spent a lot of time looking for information on the web. My hearing story is very mild and came later in life than Justin’s. I have been so hyped up hearing about his use of the new Starkey Genesis AI eliminating some of the similar problem he and I have and how the new SHA's have helped. Just could not communicate with my family aka wife & friends and was feeling left out and did not like turning my head sideways to try and hear. Thank you Starkey.
This was so good. Thank you Dave and Justin for sharing. As a HA wearer since 94’ and now with a recent household addition of one of my daughters who is 13 and wearing devices. So thankful for the technology advancements and greatly appreciate Justin sharing his hearing loss testimony.
I appreciate this conversation. I have been wearing hearing aids since 1983 at 4 years of age. I currently where the Livio 2400 model with size 13 hearing batteries. I am looking to upgrade this year to Genesis AI. The biggest feature is the water proof rating. When it gets above 75 degrees outside I'm sweating. These Livio's are the first hearing aids to last beyond 3 years for me!
I also use the Table Mic with these pair and love it. I work remotely so to be able to stream meetings directly to my ears with Bluetooth has been a big deal. To say I'm excited about possibly upgrading to Genesis AI this year is an understatement. 😃

Also, how often do you recommend Real Ear Measurement?
Will we see LE Audio - Common Audio Profile (CAP) be added to these hearing aids via firmware updates?
Are Starkey setup for LE Audio?
I reached out to Starkey support last week and they are currently not set up for LE Audio. Also said it is not on their list of future improvements. Which I was disappointed as I was hoping for this feature as I upgraded from my Livio 2400 hearing aids this year.
