Oh hi! Don't worry ~ don't compare damage in this video to your normal damage outside of the Duel Quests. Duel Quests use a special affix called "Defi" that only applies in these quests. When compared to every other class in the game, gunner is near the bottom, unfortunately. You'll have to multiweapon Rifle to your TMGs and use mines/grenades a whollleee lot. It doesn't mean it's bad though! It just happens to be the lowest damage-wise. Version 2 should release a lot of buffs to the weaker weapons (bow, tmg, etc.) You can find the patch notes on the NGS website somewhere!
There’s a timing to it, but is made easier once you have chain boost. A lot of things in gunner’s kit become way easier to do once you finish your first chain for chain boost. If you still find the timing weird, you can actually hold down normal attack and then press wa, and you’ll be able to shoot while dodging. Good luck!
Hi! For Ams specifically, there's so many counter opportunities that you don't really need to slugshot for pp unless you're trying to fit in some more damage before another counter. For this video, I was using Fighter sub. I actually use a mix of slugshot and wa123 a lot in my recent LTQ video versus Pettas and Nex. In the end, I found it's all dependent on what you're fighting against to choose how to manage your pp.
I'm trying so hard to beat this as a Slayer but i don't know what to even do. I have a Neos Astraean Gunblade+60 the augments i have on it are Deftness 4, Precision 4, Doldor Soul 4 and Defi Haumeas P.01 My armor is from the seasonal shop Eptize Armor: Vida+50 and it still has all the augments it came with i haven't put anything in the last slot on it.
Oh don’t worry! These quests are purposefully scaled for the Defi affixes. You can start off by doing “3/5 Defi”, which is affixing 3 of the cheapest Defi affixes on all your units and weapon that you can find on the market right now. (You might want separate units so you can still play other content) They should actually be really affordable at 8k a capsule or so, depending on your ship. Ignore the really expensive defis (Plutos and Makemes) for now. You can fill the rest of the slots with Doldor Soul IV and Precision IV. After that, you’ll have an easier time clearing. Good luck!
Just ignore Plutos and Makemes unless you can afford them! It should look like this on your units and weapon: Defi Eriss P.01 Defi Haumeas P.01 Defi Ceires P.01 Doldor Soul IV Precision IV This will be a good budget defi build for getting started on these quests ~
@@rafaelasederl4078 Hello ~ For these Duel Quests, I used Neos Astraean Fixa Termina 1, and Eclaireur Armor. The affixes were the Defi Affixes (Defi Eriss, Ceires, Haumeas, Makemes, Plutos) which you can get at the Seasonal Shop!
@@rafaelasederl4078 I did use a Neos! A spare Neos A Termina 1 to be exact. Eclaireur has more potency than Ajax, and with proper PP management, and dodging, the HP and PP don't make a big difference for me. Plus, these units were pre-affixed by my friend!
Can you tell me what augments you have on your gear and weapon? I jist dont know what to do to be able to deal enough damage and actually survive at this moment. Ranger is my favorite class but these duels are really frustrating me.
Hi, of course! For Duel Quests, there are affixes that were created specifically for Duel Quests and Duel Quests only. These specific affixes are so strong, that the only way you can clear these quests with an S Rank, is to use them. They're called "Defi" Augments and you can find them from the seasonal shop, the Rappy UQ, or just finding them on the personal shop sold by other players! For my specific augments, I used: Defi Eriss P.01 Defi Haumeas P.01 Defi Ceires P.01 Defi Makemes P.01 Defi Plutos P.01 You don't need to use all 5, but do try to put at least 3 of these on all of your units and weapon. The weapon itself, you can use a Neos Astraean that you can find from the Dark Falz Aegis UQ. If you don't have that, you can try to find a Gunblaze weapon in the personal shop. Good luck!
@@Digidenny The affixes I listed I used for all 3 units, and my weapon. So to maximize your damage, you should have 20 Defi affixes total. 15 for your units, and 5 for your weapon! If budget is an issue, try to affix the cheaper Defis wherever you can. The idea is to just stack as many Defis as you can across all your units and weapon. Keep in mind that these affixes are only useful for Duel Quests, and will cause you to be weaker in other quests. This is why some people prefer making a separate set of units; Duel and non-duel.
