Love it. Keeping the old tractors going is a must , avoiding as much computer chip running is a must plus I'm a sucker for nostalgia, old things being useful and heavy duty.
Patrick is there nothing you can fix? it is awesome to see what you can do. Oh, listen to that sweet voice! What a handsome little helper and grandpa teaching him how to work on things.
@@RainCountryHomestead our grandbabies always came to me (Nonna), but when they got older, they loved to hang out with Pop. Mike tells me that it’s because he’s way cooler than me! 😂😂😂
I have a YM 1500 which I use cutting the grass on a small acreage for a friend. I have found it important to frequently clean the fine mesh screen in front of the radiator . It unclips and comes out easily. By frequently I mean 2 or 3 hours which usually coincides with a break for a drink of some kind. Its amazing how quickly grass seems to collect on the screen Oddly enough when I cleared a really over grown area for another friend, brambles, nettles , small saplings beginning to sprout , that kind of thing there was less small material generated and it was less of a problem.
Put a new radiator cap too. If your tractor was boiling it should have filled your overflow container first. If not your cap is bad. Nice video. PM on your equipment pays off in the long run.
Right. It was boiling over into the overflow tank. The radiator air flow was plugged with thistle seed and fine grass. The radiator was also dirty on the external surfaces. The outside temperatures were hot and I was working the tractor pretty hard. This is the first service I had done since I got the tractor. Thanks for the tip.
Wdać, że z chłopczyka będzie mechanik. Zadbany traktorek będzie służył jeszcze długie lata dlatego warto utrzymywać jego dobry stan techniczny. Pozdrawiam.
Don't think so. Oil was topped off. Thistle weed seeds and fine grass had restricted air flow through the radiator. it was also a hot day and we worked the tractor pretty hard in the overgrown area we were brushing.
That baby is growing up so fast. It feels like yesterday when you became a grandfather and look at that baby now. So sweet.
So true!
Cutest little helper and student!

Right. Seems like a solid and clen little tractor. One can readily get most parts from Hoye Tractor for these old guys.
Good morning from Missouri! Good information as always! You guys have a wonderful day! 😊
Appreciate it.

Plenty, but I learn as I go quite a bit. I enjoy that little guy.
What a great little helper you have!! ❤ I couldn’t help but think “train up a child in the way he should go..” Making memories! 😊 Many Blessings!
He loves hanging out with papa and helping him with whatever he is doing. Those two are buddies for sure!

I like the way you maintain your equipment Patrick. I am not as diligent as you are, your equipment should last a lifetime. Thanks for sharing. Phil

Hello wonderful people. God ís good, áll the time.
I am from South Africa. Where is Rain Country?😮
The wet side of Washington in the US
Welcome South Africa! We are about as far Continental North West U.S. as you can get.
So did the flushing do the job ???
I think so, so far. I haven't ran the tractor that hard since the fluid change.
Oh gosh. Maybe the oil is why it was running hot.

Where did the curls go??? 😢😢😢
You are thinking of Jace, he has wavy hair and can get curly but Jaxon's hair is straight
@@RainCountryHomestead thanks. ❤️
Yeah, Jace (the other one) is a wooly-booger, monkey toes. Full head of hair at birth and a harry back and forehead 🙂
@@MrRain-hk4zi l lmbo. He’s gorgeous!!
They're bad about overheating while bushhogging
You need to put a waterpump on it
It has one already
