Nice video man, my favorite one is the boost, it really pairs well with your amp, you can hear the power amp starting to get closer to the edge of breakup, also sunburst Strats are beautiful, stay well man
Thanks my friend. The boost was really good, I do love using a boost anyway, it just breaks the amp up early and sounds nice, and I do love that strat! Stay well my friend
Love your videos Derek. Tips on budget gear are great. These days, you can really sound top notch with budget gear. I just ordered 2 Behringer pedals. After tax my bill is just over $60 with free shipping. I'm a huge Squire fan too. Keep up with your great demo videos. Cheers!
Thanks Micheal, i really appreciate that, i know that folks really appreciate the budget gear demos as most of the budget pedals sound really good, enjoy the Behringer pedals, they are great pedals as well! which ones did you get?, cheers!
That was a very straightforward way of working through a set of pedals and complex settings. The boost sounded good and the noise gate works as advertised as you pointed out. Have to pick up a couple of those. The fuzz seems useable as well, but that Squier Bullet sounded best with just those classic chimey tones out of that fender amp. Cheers!
Cheers Brad, it’s a new thing for me to demo that way and hope it sort of worked, out of my comfort zone a bit, noise gate worked well and the boost was good as you say, and the Squier is a fantastic guitar, I’d recommend them any day, cheers!
I used to dig and dig on my boss gt1 to figure out why the guitar tone would die off too soon. Turned out depending on Settings of a patch the Noise Reduction would often taper the length a bit. I was like. Oh I see. So I use it on occasion but not when I need long tails which as you know is Often. Hahahaha. Love your show friend.
Thanks man! maybe ideal for a budget conscious pedal buyer, some of the clean pedals are pretty nice, and the noise and compressor is useable, cheers for the comment!
Which one did you prefer?
Can't say much because I don't have an electric guitar ... But I learned something about budget pedals. Great review though 👏
Sandeep Paul thanks man! Appreciate the comment 👍
Pure Boost, can’t wait for mine to arrive!
dig the Pure Boost

Another thing that's great about budget pedals is if you want to learn how to do pedal mods you won't have to spend $50+ for a pedal to practice.
Absolutely! That’s a good point, I didn’t think of that angle, cheers Peter

I bought the EQ, red distortion (classic) and the green overdrive (TS808 clone) and really recommend them!
Thanks for the feedback and recommendation!

Haha I did get fries with them ;)

Haha i do, its like a 'aha' moment, thanks for the kind words my friend! appreciate that very much
Fuzz was my fav of the bunch . The others did what they should but the fuzz i liked most .
Thanks for the comment man!
I might have to try that fuzz soon.
It’s actually a pretty decent fuzz! Cheers
Great video as ever.
For the price it's ok but I don't think they are worth the point. Just tools but no fun maybe ?
Thanks Derek !
