The money D'Angelico spends just to cut that special headstock means something to me as a consumer, that great history is carved in that headstock along with the graphics and the step block tuners, TV Jones PUs, it oozes vibe and with the legendary rhythm guitarist/singer Bob Weir putting his name on it, it's got me GASSing for that model now!!!!

What attracted me to the brand was the ornate headstock as well. It just screams class. Fretwork & setup on the guitar was perfect out of the box. I thought the $800 pride tag was well worth it, so it pains me to see the same guitar listed on Marketplace for less than $500. These guitars are very underrated. And you’re a superb player. I absolutely love their design. I’ve played one once and it felt very nice. Maybe somewhere in the future I’ll own one. Their headstock is the best in the business imo

Beautiful guitar and amazing sounds. Great playing - keep it coming.
Like you, I love the headstock. My all time favorite headstocks are the original Ovation as well as the scroll top headstock on the original "The Gibson" mandolins.

I have a D'Angelico Bob Weir Bedford Premier. Easily my best guitar, it does everything. I want two stacked P90s in the neck and bridge, a single coil in the middle, and a blend knob on every guitar now, lol. Every time I'm extensively playing one of my more prestigious guitars, I'll switch back to my BW Bedford and remember why I love it so much. I feel I'll be getting the Deluxe version and giving the Premier to a friend one day.

Beautiful guitar! I used to have a Guild S-60 and Guild D25M Electric Acoustic. The guitar seems to be more affordable for the quality. That's not a bad price for what you get! Sounds beautiful!

Love your playing on this! Didn’t know you played jazz like this. This guitar would be my choice if I was buying a new instrument, especially with that beautiful finish and TV Jones pickups.

I have a D’ NY-DC, double cut, 335 clone, that absolutely kills. It’s from the “Vestax years,” when they were made in Japan, so quality is the best ever of this wandering brand.

I just got myself a D'Angelico PRemier DC (one of the low end models). Although it was a second hand purchase, I do have to say it has to be one of the best and most enjoyable guitars I've ever played!!!

That's a pretty guitar. I never really think about what I think is the most beautiful guitar. I play strats, super strats and teles so I've always approached guitar as very utilitarian. Like I really want a 335 style guitar. But only to have it in my recording arsenal. That's because the real thing to me will always be cooler than a guitar or amp sim. That thing sounds sweet.

To your question of the headstock, is there a favorite. I would recommend any of you all look up Moonstone. They were kind of a boutique builder in Northern California. I think you would enjoy it, but please save me one.

I've been playing one of their cheaper acoustics about 3 years now, can't put it down. I put it up against several options at the local GC, some four and five times the price. Incredibly well appointed and built.
