I changed the battery, did not work on both keys , took fobs to the dealership and they placed another battery in the fob, didn’t work, dealership said i would need to pay $250.00 for a new one and $200.00 for the 2nd key, $450 total. Ridiculous, will keep searching.
mine stopped completely working after replacement.. its the correct battery size so can anyone help? it is 25 degrees btw.. its from energizer and description says it can withstand -22 degrees of freezing cold.. i dont get why it still wont work
I have a 2015 RAV4 with the four button remote, the buttons on one of the original remotes quit working, I ordered a new key/remote, took it to an ACE Hardware to have it programmed and key cut, they did the first one and when testing, I found that the hatch button did not work, they told me it was a bad fob, I ordered another key/fob, went back and they cut the key and programmed this fob, same problem, has anyone else had this problem. Two keys/Fobs same store and equipment, same problem, the fob is sending out a signal, just won’t work the hatch. Please help.
it sounds like there may be an issue with the vehicle itself if it used to work and now won't even if the key fobs are sending out a signal and you are have tried multiple keys

every remote for every vehicle i've ever owned has been a 2032. why the heck did toyota go with a 2016
