I agree with you about more options for what the NPC's bring in. I made a suggestion for that a while back and it seems to be doing good the last time I checked. Apparently quite a few people want it. One reason I don't have NPC's now is because they overwhelmed me with things I didn't need and also for what it cost to build all of the buildings I'd just as soon get the resources myself.
I think the mistake I made the first time with the NPCs was depending on them for things. I may just leave them all on quarry or logging and just let them act like a passive resource income instead. Unless they can make glass they aren’t going to help me soon! 😂 I think I upvoted your suggestion in the Discord. Would be amazing if they added that.
@@313VeeGaming Hope things have changed. The NPC's brought me very little limestone or saltpeter. They did bring me so much of everything else I was constantly building storage for things I didn't need. I ended up putting them on average and that helped a little. I don't miss not having them at all now. I actually like going out and mining the resources I need for things so I can actually get what i need. Pretty much the only resources I mine are limestone and saltpeter. I get enough of the rest through looting and breaking down tools. If I go to places like the Military base I even get enough steel.
@@flash1259 True the iron and steel is easy enough to get or make with looting nuggets and dismantling. A NPC system revamp might do a lot for the game..
@@313VeeGaming A NPC revamp could be helpful if they do it right. Not like Scum and turning the puppets into something most people don't like now. All the developers say is it's necessary for the future. I guess if a person don't want puppets now is a better time to play. Lately I've been going to the B2 airport. Usually puppets all over the place. The last time I went I only killed 5 or 6. It was replaced by a badly implemented horde system which the developers agreed wasn't the way they intended. Now it seems like the hordes have been disabled. The private server I'm on don't have the drop ships enabled.
Some chill background music could go a long way also export the videos in 2560x1440 resolution before uploading to UA-cam so that it gives your viewers vp09 codec which makes the video better quality... 😉

I’m going to test the durability and see if it is worth the 6 steel. I am glad they added it too. I have never made the meat cleaver or other bizarre ‘weapons’ they added. Maybe there is a hidden gem in there 🤔

I'm glad they added the Katana. The middle mouse button in Scum is for bashing. I haven't bashed a lot so I'm not too good at it.

@@313VeeGaming The cleaver is really good in Scum. I haven't made the cleaver in NoS either or a lot of the other tools.
@@flash1259 I need to go to the aluminum and iron mines after I rescue all the NPCs so I can make steel and try those ones out then.. 🤔
