    Hello.
I'm the tutor in this video.
Since I'm unable to find any answers to some of the queries(common ones) below, I feel obliged to do it now.
    1. Yes, 64/77 in a calculator is way easier.
Unfortunately, it takes a considerable amount of time for people to solve manually during exams and under the stress of the ticking timer.
    2. Yes, 39 is not a prime number. but it is semiprime, meaning it is the multiple of two primes (13 and 3).
(Which anyways doesn't make it right.)
    3. Apologies for talking too fast. It's in my nature that I run through words like a hot knife through butter.
:P. It has sorta become like my identity. LOL.
    4. WRT to the tricks in this video, I owe a lot to my peers and seniors at FACE. I merely collated them and presented them.
    Credits go to them also.
    5. A lot of these tricks are not concrete. You can formulate your own also. For most of us that don't have the privilege of formulating our own tricks, these sure come in handy.
Knowing these has never ruined me in anyway during exams, if not helped me outrightly. But, knowing them gave me a sense of confidence that I attempted more questions in Quants than I had expected.
    6. At one place I got a little confused too when I listened to it now. Rookie mistake, perhaps.
    :P.
Apologies once more. (I hadn't been training vigorously at that point. Might be because of a lack of touch. Still not an excuse.)
[I tried to answer only the most common ones.] :P :D
And this is my only video on this channel I guess with my face on it. You may find my voice in their courses, although it is very unlikely.
WHEN THE VIDEO WAS UPLOADED I HAD NO CLUE IT WOULD GENERATE A 1000 EYEBALLS, LET ALONE 1.5 MILLION.
I KNEW IT HAD HIT 1 MILLION WHEN MY EX-MANAGER CALLED UP TO INFORM. IT SURE FELT OUT OF THE WORLD.
APOLOGIES IF MY VIDEO DIDN'T SATISFY YOU.
THANKS FOR ALL THE KIND WORDS, APPRECIATION AND LOVE.
    THANKS, FACEPREP.
    MUCH LOVE.

Why not just refer testing with the possible numbers to know the answer like, the first example 272 factor of 17 or not, focus on the last digit of 272 its 2,we just need to know the multiples of 7 the unit digit,In the multiples of 7 which one ends with a 2? We know its 6 as 7×6 =42,17×6 is obviously not 272 its 102 ,so try putting 17×16 and there you can understand doesn't trying out save time?

why should we take base as 50 for 36 sqre? cant we take 40??

    • @nikhilreddy7939
      @nikhilreddy7939 6 років тому +4

For that you need to understand the logic involved in it. It's all about the 2ab term. If we take 50 as base we can write 36sq. as (50-14)sq. Now, write down the expansion=> (2500-1400+196) you can see both the terms have 2 zeros in the end. This is reason why he subtracted 14 from 25. You can easily divide two two digits and arrive at answer easily. Now consider taking 40 as base, Write down expansion (1600-320+16) it will be difficult to calculate because of unequal number of zeros in the terms. Final verdict:- It is not that you cannot use 40 as base it's all about how simply you arrive at solution.
