Ok I’ve watched it all and loved todays cooking chapter!! I think the recipe cards are genius and makes cooking for children with or without additional needs so much simpler! Cheyenne is also a maths whizz due to your large family working out number to cater for etc! And Lucas… like father like son trying to pinch the goods before time!!
I just found your channel and have been so impressed to see all the ways you patiently and lovingly teach life skills to your kids. It is so inspiring and I want to apply some of your idea with mine. I would love to see a video of all your favorite tools, adaptations, and resources you have used over the years that help with different things. Thank you

Cheyenne you did such great job! That was a lot to bake/cook in one day! It was a lot of work but looked like a really yummy meal! All the hard work is worth it when it comes out delicious!

Well done Cheyenne for making such a great dinner for you and the family. I also would like to thank Luaralie for helping out by setting the table for the family. Jacub being a little sneak trying to taste dinner before its ready. That was cute to see. Way to go Cheyenne!! You could have stopped with the pie and pizza wreath because they looked so good. I wanted to eat that while you were making the salad dressing 😆. The whole meal looked delicious, and you did a great job preparing everything. That’s a lot of work!

( with cutting, some extra safety first might be: put the tip of the knife down on the cutting board first - to kind of anchor and stabilize it - before you cut. Helps prevent slipping, and makes it easier to cut if you need to use your free hand to push it down, which also keeps all fingers out of the way. It can only flip/rotate sideways that way, and not flip in all directions)

One thing I wish I was able to learn was the math for doubling recipes. I can do some of it my head but the other ones I still have to look at the measuring cup or measure it individually 2 equal however many X the recipe is doubled.

When I have to set a counter at my work I also use post it notes so I know where I'm at .

One tip use pot holders to take out of microwave or oven

Yes, the 7 children are full biological siblings. We adopted the oldest 4, 13 years ago and the the younger 3, 10 years ago.

Where did you get the schedule template. Whenever I cook with something sticky I use disposable gloves because of my sensory issues I really dislike the feelings of sticky and slimy things. Even at work I use gloves when making slime with the kids or serving breakfast that has jelly,syrup, honey.
