BMW hit a jackpot in 2008 when it introduced 3 fully-flared sport bikes; HP2 Sport, K1300S & S1000RR. All but S1000RR had shaft-drive & all but HP2 Sport had inline-four engines. S1000RR has chain-drive & HP2 Sport had a boxer-twin engine.
