Because there's so much mechanism, it would be incredibly hard to make anything else since the Infinus is kind of shaped around it. For them to change it would be very little or just ergonomically not comfortable.
To me this is the best looking blaster in the nerf lineup. My favorite blasters are, #1 infinus #2 hyperfire #3 rapidstrike (blue and orange) #4 regulator
Nerf has the tendency to create a revolutionary new blaster line, and then nothing else comes out from it, the infinus(THE PERFRCT SCAVENGER GUN), the regulator(select fire madness), the hyper fire( fast firing sci fi blasters). Its just sad at this point... Oh well, at least we have dart zone.
@@brendancorey7831 yeah they should remake the auto loading but make the system stronger, an idea I have is a conveyor belt like the hyperfires and all you do is drop the darts, maybe they could make a dart hopper and the auto loading into one blaster. That would be amazing
I wonder if you could gut one of these for that auto-loader mechanism and put it on a belt/thigh rig or a back rig for HvZ. would be cool for a support-style player to be able to hunker down and load peoples clipazines.
You know what would be a really interesting upgrade from this? A version with two parallel magazine loaders, with a magazine switch. That way, if you can find darts two at a time, you can fill one magazine while firing, and if you can't find darts you have a filled mag to switch to and fire from. Though one thing occurs to me...given the loading mechanism, why do you even really need a detachable mag anymore? Just carry rounds in a dart pouch, and load as needed, same as you would for a single-shot?
I am super excited to see the internals of this thing! I'm really looking forward to the mod guide for this, but I'm not sure how easy it will be to preserve the mechanism. I'm glad Hasbro sent you one to tinker with, and I can't wait to see what awesome stuff you do with it! I love your channel, and I want to thank you for giving me the courage to get into modding, (my first mod was following your crossbolt mod guide) and I love seeing how your content keeps getting better and better! Keep up the awesome work!
Damn... another blaster that I’m pleasantly surprised at. This thing is gonna sell well. That loader is way too cool. Not to mention it looks like a comfortable blaster to hold. It solves the problem of using magazines: not being able to constantly top it off, like the Rival Hades, and/or Artemis. This completely blew that problem out of the sky. Still praying that the RapidStrike comes back one day in some fashion though, and I won’t have to pay over $100 for it.
Graham Turner it should because all mag-Feds are compatible, and the mags work better than drums. Btw the demolisher did have banana mags but so did several other boasters like the Modulus.
Does it load while the blaster is pointed directly downward? If so, surely someone could design a hopper style thing to dump darts into which would then feed into several loading mechanisms...
the loading mech is the best thing they have done in a long time. I have seen video of similar mechs that ppl have made in the past, so it isn’t entirely new really
Could you make the quadruple Infinus loader a public SENC contraption so all of your fellow Nerf Herders can load up their mags? I would love to try it out.
Drac do you think you will over power the auto loader with a lipo seeing as how it seems to be going with a certian speed in order th load the darts the way it does?
For anyone who commented "Stick a Titan drum on it and it'll be amazing", no, the Titan drum and this thing's way of reloading is a recipe for jams. The Titan drum itself is a recipe for jams. The Infinus itself isn't really that likely to jam either; drums are just less reliable than stick mags.
What we would need to figure out is how many revolutions the flywheel loader takes to load a single dart to program an ammo counter for it. With that and a card reader installed with a buzzer to tell you when you have completely filled your drum or clipizine
When your using another magazine fed gun have that beside you so you can put your mag in and lode it faster with its gimmick take it out and put it back in your other gun and it will only take 10 seconds to lode it.
I'm pretty stoked for this blaster, an f.p.s. bump, maybe overdrive the battery section, and good darts, and this thing may rival my stryfe obsession!! Good review Drac, as always, I appreciate the vid!!
One idea that comes to mind is potentially making some sort of rig that you can clip on to your belt and load darts into mags for other guns or something like that
I have 3 I got for that price, I got one at target for 39 then got both my sons one for the same price from walmart.com and I've already modded mine to run 3s and retain the stock auto load feature
only problems are that all that time you spent loading one dart at a time you could have easily swapped mags. one dart def won’t save you with a flywheeler. You could just have a W mag or stick your empty mag on the side and top it off as you go. This mech is also a drain on your battery. Just my thoughts. I think the hype will die down like it did with the Atlas.
It can do that, but you can top off as well. It takes the advantages of front loaders and magazines and puts them into one blaster. Not to mention because it has the loading por,t people at smaller nerf wars or don't carry gear will find it very helpful to reload all the time.
Can it load a Katana mag? Or any other short length mag system? I realize they aren't really for flywheel blasters, but i think it's still worth knowing.
the question is: can it be modified so its loads faster than we can do it by hand? plus maybe print some stuff so we dont have to slide every single dart manually in it. cant wait to see you crack it open
I kinda wanna see someone take the infinus reload mechanism and put it into a stock, so you haave a spaare empty mag in your stock and you can reload it while on the run
My first ever battery powered Nerf gun was the Infinus that I had found at a thrift shop called Dirt Cheap Got it for around 12-15 bucks with it's magazine and a ghost ops chronobarrel
Interesting, but in my opinion not worth buying (for a normal player). If you like loading darts while running/moving without taking out magazine just buy something with drum; it's cheaper, simpler, won't jam, lighter and more popular.
I can already see people make a stick mag out of PVC pipes just for the soul purpose of pushing the reloading trigger, and letting the darts fall and pretty much load them selves in.
4:10 Doesnt save a whole lot of time? I cant load 2 mags at the same time but 2 Infinus side by side could and that is nearly a 50% time saving and thats with just the standard speed that it goes at who knows if you could get it to go quicker with mods.
Be honest, shall we? It is the Bosses Patriot M4 from Metal Gear Solid 3, snake eater. It is even usable just like a oversized Pistol. Only difference is it actually has a stock.
I really don't see how this is moddable having seen the internals. People are talking about isolating the load mech, but if you do that, then that will interfere with the ability to load while firing and/or critically jam/break it, from what I can tell.
FPS bump, hopper mount, and a paint job. Call it Eternity.

Does it take official Demolisher mags? Also, does it take the 15 round magazines with the same style?
Graham Turner probably but it depends on how much the mag curves at the top because if it curves to much at the top it won’t fit
