Wishing you well on your new adventures. I'm really pleased I managed to get some of your yarn I love your colour palette Re the name change ultimately it is up to you but these are some my contributions Gemma's creative adventures Coastal creations New leaf creations Tides of creativity What ever you decide I'm sure it will be great wishing you all the best again
What a great video. You do what makes you happy. Name I would go with something meaningful about you and your family or surroundings. I've just started quilting and started with a scrap tote bag (made out of leftover fabric, so with the Thomas panel, I would add some wadding and a contrast backing. Thank you for sharing all your other craft updates 😊
Change is scary, but if it doesn't fit, there's no point forcing it. You'd stretch yourself too thin and burnout. The Yarn will be there waiting for you if in the future you find yourself with more time and the desire to revisit it. I've loved your yarn and your channel for years and I'm excited to continue following your journey ❤❤
Hi Gemma, I would pick a picture that makes you happy, keep everything under the name of Gemma Mills. For me, it doesn’t matter what you want to share, I really enjoy sitting down and spending time ‘with’ you. Do what you brings you joy and remember you are allowed to change your mind about what you what to do with your life. Hugs from Adelaide 💙 Edited to add - for the Thomas fabric, get some lovely backing material, some wadding, sew it together and make a quilt/cuddle blanket for Robin. It wouldn’t take to long to do.
That's a great idea! I've just remembered I've a single duvet cover that I'd planned on repurposing into a beanbag for his bedroom, but I could use the front of that (which was going to be left over) for the back of this panel. It's always lovely to know you're here with me Jennifer - hugs from Adelaide always makes me smile. xx
@@TheMidnightDyery Hi Gemma, sounds like a fantastic way to repurpose the duvet cover. Can’t wait to see what you come up with, Robin is going to love it. Hugs from Adelaide💙, came from the heart after watching a podcast of yours(can’t remember which one) and I’m not big into hugs but that’s what I wanted to do at that moment, reach through the screen to give you a big hug and say things will get easier and better. It’s lovely to see you so happy, moving was definitely the right decision as tough as it was at the time. I don’t always comment or even like the podcast (need to do better at that) but as soon as I see a podcast, I’m watching it asap.
I'm here for any of your craft/ life adventures. For the name what has replaced midnight dying in your life? Obviously work and Robin which are both great, but what do you squeeze into post bedtime evenings? I would go with that, the things you can't wait for 5 mins of fitting it in. It's lovely to hear the connection of the Midnight Dyery to Lara. I understand why you would like to step away, but also why it is also an emotional process. If it not to intrusive I would like to suggest add things from the Midnight Dyery to Lara's memory box. They seem so linked that it would be a way to preserve that connection. As with any comment please feel free to ignore all of any of what I have written. Thank you for another great video 😊
Hi Ellie, thank you so much that's such a kind thing to say and a great suggestion. I wasn't sure what to do with the few little bits but adding them to her memory box is a lovely idea. Not intrusive at all and thank you so much for acknowledging her. Regarding the evenings, it's pretty much any craft that takes my mood. Sometimes it's doing a puzzle with the Mr, sometimes it's knitting, cross stitch, reading, crochet. Just enjoying the journey.
I love Buckfast Abbey, when I need a recharge I always go there, tea and cake is lovely there as well
