nobody was actually sent to an internet addiction school, where kids were commonly abused and beaten, including being electrified on an electric chair, in order to make them stop gaming. the first thing nobody did after he came out was to go play at the nearest internet cafe💀💀
Hate to be that guy but a slight correction: the director later cleared things out on a stream that it was nobody's classmate that got electrocuted, not nobody. Him being sent to an internet addiction school is still true though, so he's very lucky to have survived.
They also prefer to pick a map they are not really good at for the first match, like in the grand final, they got beaten on heaven. But so what, they just kept gaining momemtum later on on the maps they are good at. It is definitely better than winning one map and then losing one
Alan’s comment on KK’s personality is seriously true. He was/is a perfect face for CN Valorant, flashy and talented yet humble and respectful. You see it in his interviews, you see it backstage when he’s with other players, and so on. He showed huge improvement along with the team as a whole, and it’s clear that he’s a vibe merchant for his team in games. It’s really hard not to like him. I’m glad he was recognized with the MVP award last year.
I very rarely subscribe to channels but you earned it, time after time you deliver high end video story telling and editing, keep up the amazing work you do.
Fun fact: about that nickname for Smoggy, as Smoggy played better and better, netizens in China started referring him as Emperor in a good way, for example, when he get a multi kills in a round, audiences would spam things like 御驾亲征 (which means the emperor lead his troop into wars) or 君临天下 (which means the emperor rule all).
The one glorious thing about VCT has to be the region disparity because every region is evenly matched and that's what Esports should strive to achieve.
id still say china is clearly the weakest region despite edg's success. not only has china historically struggled internationally, even at this champs the other chinese teams besides edg flopped hard.
@鹦鹉-l8o Well that's cuz the other teams don't have much experience playing on the international stage compared to regulars like EDG and FPX. They literally got their own league last year and they WON Champs, which is already a massive improvement. Give them at least 2-3 years more and you'll see them on top of the VCT circuit
born too early to explore the stars, born too late to explore the earth. born just in time to watch this guy post crack ass valorant documentaries for FREE. this shit is really good
😭 i have watched them play at every major event but i didn't know the backstory and how rough their journey to the top was. a truly well deserved win and an amazing video, as always.
as someone who has a hard time expressing emotions, to think that a video about a video game would bring me to tears...you deserve every ounce of support you get, and much more. i have never enjoyed a video so much. keep it up brother
I have been waiting for Commend to do the content on EDG's Champions. The wait is totally worth it. I could see the dedication from doing the research about EDG's past from even when Valorant was not yet franchised. Details from the player's past and other information leading to the Grand Finale. Absolute Cinema.
This is a video that I wanted to see... All the run of EDG from East Asia LCQ to Champions 2024 ! This run from the team that's still the front of Chinese teams and create Idols ! Thx Commend for doing that again and again
It's really good that KangKang finally got to show everyone he was always that guy. A shame Haodong had to become an assistant coach before leaving to TEC.
W video. The amount of research you did on each player's life before they started playing Valorant was next level. I really missed your storytelling for EDG's Champions Seoul journey, but still a great video nevertheless....
One of the best (if not the best) valorant videos I’ve seen, this is such a fire documentary. The buildup to the ending (their champions 2024 win) was masterfully done
shoutout to prx as well cuz they played scrims with them after getting out of champs, they would scrim the comps of the teams that edg were about to face and play like them. And that helped them out alot.
as an edg fan since tokyo, the win meant so much to us edg fans, especially those who have always believed in them and stuck through thick and thin. from all the hate during the masters events, to the people who switched up on them once they started losing. it felt good to prove them wrong and i cant wait to see what 2025 brings ❤ thank you for this video!
Much awaited video, Kang Kang and his teammates made their country proud. them winning it was one for the books. Peak valorant at its best. Hope paper Rex can get theirs soon too
I love how kangkang and smoggy were like "Look at this kid, crying ON STAGE, what a weirdo" while kangkang is the happiest man alive at that moment lmao
1:06 i think this is incorrect, valorant was not released in Vietnam until 2021 due to licensing issues. There was even a unique title (Pioneer) given out via code to celebrate the game being launched in Vietnam. There might be some other countries where valorant was released after 2020 as well, not sure which ones though. This is a dumb nitpick though, incredible video 🔥
bro just casually droped a movie on a random sunday
Absolute Cinema
Smoggys tears at the end of Champs are actually so emotional, you could really tell that this meant so much to him

nahhhhh thats actually wild
its not addiction, its dedication!
NAHHH Nobody has ever done that
Are you serious????? That is insane

"aim practice." They lost the first map of every series yet didnt lose a single series. Legendary mental
they kept picking haven and losing every single time
They also prefer to pick a map they are not really good at for the first match, like in the grand final, they got beaten on heaven. But so what, they just kept gaining momemtum later on on the maps they are good at. It is definitely better than winning one map and then losing one
@@kingpenguinn I really think they did that on purpose, so that their morale wont be damaged later on

Seriously, after the heartbreak that was PRX's loss at the champs, EDG's win felt so sweet.
@@jadenyeo8390 prx also scrimmed with them the whole time
I was always sad for TH not winning in 2 grand finals. But honestly success was long due for EDG, what a journey ❤️

Thank you so much, it really does mean a lot - I care a lot about telling great stories so to recieve feedback like this is amazing 😁

现在玩文帝梗已经变成打haters脸的方式了,但是还是觉得对别人家人人身攻击超级恶毒
