- BBC TWO broadcast a themed night of 1990s programmes in June 2014, introduced with a selection of classic symbols from around the era.
Across BBC TWO, Network, Wales and Northern Ireland respectively aired their own choice of symbol before each programme.
Includes present-day pointers chosen by Network and Northern Ireland for I Love 1996.
They kept finding excuses to put the old 90's idents back on screen. I could tell they were trying to find a way of reinstating them.

Literally the only ident I remember from said videos is the balloon one that I had an irrational fear of.

The logos change depending on the ident. Example: if the lights identity airs the older BBC logo is shown.
Logos: BBC 2: BBC 1991 logo Wales: BBC 1997 logo with URL (1999-2001) NI: Whatever logo 1991, 1997
1:11 That was the logo of BBC TWO Northern Ireland from 1997-2001. Not 1996.
How did you get all of these bumpers if all of those regions (probably) aired these shows at the same time?
It's amazing that as little as twenty years ago, the idents were really this good looking! The idents used now a days are crap in comparison.
I'm glad they are using some again for the 50th anniversary. Wish they were here to stay though!

They not only re-ran idents from the 90’s, but also the logo beneath it.
You forgot Optics (BBC Two NI, with 1991 logo), Water (BBC Two NI, with 1991 logo), Swan (BBC Two NI, strangely with 1991 logo), Powder (BBC Two NI, with 1991 logo), Powder (BBC Two Wales, with 1997 logo), Silk (BBC Two NI, with 1997 logo), Steam (BBC Two NI, with 1997 logo), Neon (BBC Two NI, with 1997 logo) and Car (BBC Two NI, with 1997 logo).
They weren’t broadcast during 90s Night.

@@matthall3077 The idents in the video were from 90’s Night in June 2014; the idents “SonicFan08”’ listed were shown during the Affernoon Classics blocks. LP401C _did not_ forget the other AC idents because they were not shown on 90’s Night.

Im glad they decided to brings these indents back onto BBC2, these were such classics. my fave 90's indent was the flipping dog one in the shape of the 2

So happy the Beeb brought these back in all their restored glory! :D It might seem like a trivial touch to some but to me these are a landmark of both visual presentation and a personal nostalgia for simpler times.

Patiently waiting for HD Silk. Anyone seen it yet?
It has been seen on the Network but Northern Ireland are currently using Silk during the Afternoon Classics block.

Loved 90s night I wish the BBC would bing back the old idents. They where the best. Tbh evything about the 90s was great
