You know, FT...I love watching your videos for several reasons...seeing your beautiful, healthy cattle, watching how well you treat them, watching you grow feed, rebuilding your grandpa's beautiful farm, seeing how resourceful you are, how you build and rebuild everything from fences to feeders to tractors and more. But one thing that I get from your videos is a sense of calm and peace....from remembering my own grandpa's farm and the dairy farm next door, both lovely places that I truly was enchanted with. And it makes me feel glad seeing that there are still sane people around, like you, who are not afraid of true hard work, dedication, family, and creating good things. You're a fine young man. You give me hope! And for that, this old lady thanks you.
Great video the Ford returns to the pasture once again. I really like that old Ford it's always good to see it working feeding the cows. Thanks for sharing have a great weekend.
Great job Tyler, you always checking and fixing on things for you to keep doing what you have to do for those beautiful animals and on that pretty land. Keep Up The Good Work.
Good 🌄 Tyler Great job. You do nice work. You almost got yourself a new tractor. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy watching your videos i learn so much. Enjoy your day. As always stay blessed.
Nice Video!! Here's a tip. When you change Tie Rod Ends on anything (Car, Truck, Tractor) Count the number of turns when you unscrew the old end from the center tube. Screw the new one in the same number of turns. This will put you very close to the original dimension. Threads are a constant. 10 turns out......10 turns in, puts you right back where you started. Best of luck.........
Since I'm older than your tractor, better talk 2 ortho specialist about some new knee joints. LOL Now let's get the Ford back out in the field & feedin' them cows. U da man Tyler. Good job! 👍👍👍😀
What? No precision tape measure wheel alignment? You can do that in hardly any time at all now. Vintage tin does take a lot of work to get it back into good condition. Lookin good!
I’m glad it helped Johnny. I’m going to do a video on replacing front wheel bearings on an 8n soon, if that’s something you’re interested in keep an eye out!
Oh yeah look for me out on the Hwy with this ol girl any day now haha! Good question, I saw a 30% chance Thanksgiving week but I’m not holding my breath!
@@farmertylerranch4399 Saw ya out work the cows this afternoon...yes that was us honking and waving. On our way home from Davis...hope your day was good one.
Ah, man, sure wish you had videoed the tractor knocking you around before you fixed it. LOL That would have been too funny. Tractor is coming along nicely though. That's the thing with old farm equipment. They are durable and rugged, but sometimes they need a day at the spa. 😉
I have a question for you. It looks like your grease zirks on the ball joint are on the opposite ends from the ones you pulled off because I can't get mine to fit with the grease zirks on the pitman arm. Thoughts?
You did something wrong, that was way to easy ha ha. Looks like paint and some new.emblems are next lol.... Thanks for sharing tyler. Any plans to get a small blade or mower for it. Those are handy little tractors to have around.
Haha yeah I think you’re right Kory! I’m still torn on whether or not I want to paint it, kind of like the “used” look but I think one day I will. For now it’s just for feeding. There is no hydraulic pump so the three point doesn’t work and I’m not sure if the pto even works. Eventually I’ll fix that stuff but the parts are pricey! Thanks!
You’re doing the out-of-the-way dance good moves you might have used the vice behind you to hold it while you pounded it LOL they made them good back then good job
Nice solid work on re-doing the steering linkages....it was definitely in need. All you need now is to lose that beard, bleach your hair and get a perm and you could be Rachel Gingell! LOL!
If you thought about your viewers, you would have put it back together and re-enacted it so we could see hit you😂 just kidding, glad you weren’t hurt. The way you show and explain things make your channel worth watching. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Use two hammers and strike the arm from each side at the same time several times, it is enough to weaken the hold at least and sometimes enough for the ball joint to drop out.
You said in one post that the 3 point life don't work, and you didn't know if the PTO works or not. Some early Fords the PTO had to be in gear and turning before the power lift would work. It's just a thought.
Given the age of that tractor, I'd say things came off pretty easy for ya! I have a spare pickle fork. If you know of a good safe way to send me your address, I'll send it to ya at no cost. Enjoy having your feeding tractor back!
You’re right for being that old it came apart surprisingly easy! I appreciate that offer Chris that’s really cool of you, and I think I’ll take you up on it! Shoot me an email and we’ll figure something out, thanks again!! Farmer_tyler@hotmail.com

Thanks Allan! I think all that’s left is a valve adjustment, new valve cover gasket and lights...for now at least!
Another fine production from FTR!!!
Thanks Wendy!
New Ball joints look great! That is a really old tractor and to keep her going is amazing! Old girl!
Well done! You're going to have that old tractor completely overhauled in no time! Good video
Thanks a lot WTF you’re right we’re going to be there before I know it!
This is how you make an instructional video!!!! Great job. Simple and straight to the point!!
The tracti got new joints. Rheumatism will no longer knock him down. :):):) Super!
Thanks Ra Wa!
Tyler old mate, you just taught me in minutes what other blokes have tried years to explain. Thankyou
What? No precision tape measure wheel alignment? You can do that in hardly any time at all now. Vintage tin does take a lot of work to get it back into good condition. Lookin good!
Thanks AC!
Nice work as always. Had to chringe when I saw the arm fly off of the work bench. LOL Stay safe.
Thanks Crslyrn!
Awesome job, looks and work well now
Thanks for showing the whole procedure. I'm about to do the same on my 1952 8n. Thanks for the confidence.
I’m glad it helped Johnny. I’m going to do a video on replacing front wheel bearings on an 8n soon, if that’s something you’re interested in keep an eye out!
it sure was easier to fix things from days gone by ! have a good one
That is for sure!
Nice job , enjoyed!
Great video Tyler!
One less thing on the punch list, no more Death Wobble....LOL She is about ready to get out on "70" and head to town! When are we going to get rain??
Oh yeah look for me out on the Hwy with this ol girl any day now haha! Good question, I saw a 30% chance Thanksgiving week but I’m not holding my breath!

I don’t know if it would be so funny haha! Thanks Paulla!
Farmer Tyler Ranch - Well, it would be to me. LOL 😂
Tyler, never say “it should not take too long”!!! Murphy’s law will kick in and jinx it.
👍
So true! Haha!
I have a question for you. It looks like your grease zirks on the ball joint are on the opposite ends from the ones you pulled off because I can't get mine to fit with the grease zirks on the pitman arm. Thoughts?
I think mine are the same at the steering arm and the new ones at the other end are sealed. Sorry I’m no help! What is the fitment issue?
Great job on the audio using the wireless mic. Very consistent voice quality, very professional.
You did something wrong, that was way to easy ha ha. Looks like paint and some new.emblems are next lol.... Thanks for sharing tyler. Any plans to get a small blade or mower for it. Those are handy little tractors to have around.

Brother, Where did you order those Ball Joints? Thanks Man! 😃
Yesterday’s tractors. It’s an online parts house
Great job Tyler
Looks like the tire rubs on that bolt ( maybe tire to fat ) ?
Couple more parts and she’ll be ready for another 66 yrs !!
Thanks J. R. ! Yeah we’re getting there one piece at a time
you are tha handymen greate job
You’re doing the out-of-the-way dance good moves you might have used the vice behind you to hold it while you pounded it LOL they made them good back then good job
Can you give me the size of the rear tire?
I’ll try to remember next time I’m by it
Ya killin me smalls
Nice solid work on re-doing the steering linkages....it was definitely in need. All you need now is to lose that beard, bleach your hair and get a perm and you could be Rachel Gingell! LOL!
Hahaha this one actually made me laugh out loud! I’ll have to work on my Northern Midwest accent!
Just like a guy. Dangerous! Great job, now go spend time with your lovely wife and baby.
I am what I am! Haha! Thanks Tammy
P B blaster works better on rust, anti seize on all parts before going back together
Great video
If you thought about your viewers, you would have put it back together and re-enacted it so we could see hit you😂 just kidding, glad you weren’t hurt. The way you show and explain things make your channel worth watching. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Haha yeah let me get right on that! Thanks Walsh Farms!
Use two hammers and strike the arm from each side at the same time several times, it is enough to weaken the hold at least and sometimes enough for the ball joint to drop out.
Now all it needs is a new coat of paint. (Hopefully)
You said in one post that the 3 point life don't work, and you didn't know if the PTO works or not. Some early Fords the PTO had to be in gear and turning before the power lift would work. It's just a thought.
Great video ! like what I saw and did subscribe keep videos coming .
Thanks Dennis for subscribing!
I’ve never done that to a Ford but wouldn’t a pickle fork be perfect for removing those on the tractor?
Yes it definitely would!
I hope you counted how many full turns on each one.
I own 3 N series never went thru all that to take off drag link ends. Pry up under shaft at end you're removing hit side of hole it's in with hammer.
wish we could fix cows like that
You said it!
I'm getting you a "pickle fork" for Christmas!!! lol.
Yup there cheap, fast and saves teeth!
Thanks I need one! Not something you need every day but when you need it, you need it!
Hate to say it but a little bit of never seize n them tie rod threads would be nice
Good call that stuff is great!
should have c-clamped the arm that way it would not have flew through the air thank god it didnt hit you for sure hugsssssssss from Ontario Canada
Nice job. The old Jubilee is lookin' good. Would Be cool to put a hydraulic pump on it and get the PTO going too.
You could use a pickle fork .
Yeah I was wishing I had one
Do you have a diagram on 9n wiring 6V pos + ground front distributor
I need 9n rewired no color codes match my wires?

You'd be amazed what a vise or a fork can do.
That looked like that hurt just a little.
It's always best to mark them before you remove them so you can re line it back not be a tooth off..
Do you have part numbers on those ball joint ends please
Not off hand. Just go to Yesterday’sTractors.com and look in the steering section for an NAA
Use a pickle fork that's what it's made for
No alignment??
You should get a sticker saying grandpa for the old tractor be well cool and add a date
😣OUCH😭❗BE CAREFUL ❗
B especially mindful of low flyin' objects.
Look how easy the bolts and thing's come off something really old
Old things last longer because they were made better
Clamp it down to the bench man very dangerous otherwise.
🚜👍👍👍🚜
Should of went ahead changed out the king pin bushings.
