Neptune being the only planet other than mars who treats their moons with care is actually very wholesome, he’s probably the only planet who believes in Moon Equality since Mars can’t for being on the brink of death in asteroid belt

The fact that Neptune knew all their names shows he cares about the moons and that he is the nicest planet and best
Neptune is like a parent that’s open minded to his children and just supports his children’s interest. Or it's just his carelessness

He genuinely wants his moons to be happy but he probably doesn't understand the concept of a revolution or what it's about
I feel like Naptune being this way is due to isolation. Being far apart from the other planets becomes lonely, so you only have your Moons, and a fellow Dwarf Planet near you to talk. You'd of course memorize all of their names, and to starve off insanity you'd play games so Napture probably just cared less and less of where his moons would go as he knows that if they wanted to orbit, or talk to him they're always able to.

I am shocked that Neptune can remember the names of his small moons than just remembering Triton, unlike Saturn and Jupiter.

Well Neptune only has 14 moons to memorize, while Jupiter has like 80 moons.

Actually, Pluto is the only celestial object that Neptune forgets. He recognizes Uranus and Saturn whenever he comes back. I first thought it was because he didn't first meet Pluto until after Neptune lost his mind but then I remembered that Pluto confirmed that they first met 4.5 billion years ago. Maybe Neptune sees Uranus and Saturn as friends but not Pluto. Poor Pluto

It's very nice to see that at least Neptune respect his moons, although he's always losing them. He accepted Triton's choice, even though they hadn't seen each other in years. Needless to say, it was so cute when he listed all the names of the other moons and pronounced it correctly.
That part where Triton said that they are basically objects orbiting bigger objects is really interesting, and also where Neptune's other moons wanted to return to Neptune's orbit except Triton who really questioned Callisto about the revolution and whether it's the right path to take
Well he only tried to convince the other moons to join so he can get rid of them. He doesnt care about the revolution and just wants to be left alone.
Thats why i think Triton is one of the more interesting characters. He is trying to hide who he trully yet he wants to be himself without other moons around
I rhink that Triton will end up hiding in the Kuiper belt for seclusion (and hopefully meet Pluto and Charon)

In general, I think that Neptune's behaviour is caused by the fact that he has not been socialised due to his long loneliness.
But when he started spending more time with other planets, his behaviour started to become more and more familiar. You may have noticed that in the series "Where does Pluto REALLY come from?" his trademark blinking with a wave has already disappeared.
Neptune's Moon's are so sweet and innocent and how Triton acts like a father figure to them is sweet also I like how Neptune let's them go and remembers all there names

The fact Saturn can only remember one name and then Neptune with 80- less IQ can remember all of them just shows how long he’s spent without any other planet.

In fact, I wouldn't say he's stupid. On the contrary, he is quite smart. Sometimes he behaves smarter than Uranus.

@@Elen2332. your correct. Ah e just 10-20 less IQ, since he doesn’t know much about space, or the other planets, but Saturn knows way more because he was the second in the solar system, even if he didn’t know how he got his rings, Jupiters just taught him more.

@@axtxmn563 in case you didn't know, IQ doesn't depend on a person's knowledge in certain areas, but rather on memory and logical thinking. And although his memory isn't all that good, I think he has not bad logic, especially considering his mental state.
But even so, he is quite knowledgeable in astronomy (again, better than Uranus), but it is clear that due to his long isolation from others, especially from the omniscient Jupiter, he could hardly learn anything new. And we can see how, after his return, Neptune began to make up for it by approaching others and and asking them about everything.
I really wonder why everyone thinks he's stupid. Because I think that before he disappeared, he had the potential to become the smartest planet after Jupiter, judging by what he says in his current state.
I'm not surprised that he remembers all his moons, I expected that, and I would have been very disappointed if it was otherwise.

I just love it how the other planets littrealy treat the moons badly and don't care about them, Neptune is different. He cares about the moons and doesn't say anything bad to them, he just said "wanna orbit together again? " and when triton says they want to join the moon revolution Neptune just says "ok have fun! " like he doesn't know what is that. Other then that, Neptune remembers the moon names although its probably been years he didn't met them. It shows that he cares about the moons very much and gives them freedom, unlike those other planets saying that they should always orbit them. I love this episode

He's more like the big brother who loves the little moons, but also wants to explore and make his own way, while Neptune is the mentally challenged, unnattentive parent and the little satellites are the small kids.

As for Neptune. First of all, he is definitely not mentally challenged; crazy and inattentive - yes, mentally challenged - no. But we saw that satellites are really important to him. So he was looking for them because he really wanted them back, and he would take care of them.
As for Triton. This "father" or "big brother", as we can see, thinks about himself first and foremost. Personally, I did not see any care on his part, where is that care? He sent them to the revolution, where they could die, and he is going to avoid such participation. He is deceiving, in fact, children who do not understand what they are getting into, but sincerely believe him and love him.
For me, this character turned out to be more insidious than Ganymede or even Europa. They, at least so far, have not yet stooped to such things.

That's the truth! Chances are high that the Titan will start assembling a resistance squad against Ganymede and Europa! Then Triton and the other moons of Neptune can easily enter there!

I have a feeling that Triton isn't exactly who he seems like. He got the other moons of Neptune to agree to the revolution, but without agreeing himself. He either doesn't like Neptune's moons the same way they like him, or its just a lighter theme and that he just needs a break from them. With the storyline of Solarballs so far though... I'd guess the first option.
But, this is just a theory. I could be completely wrong.

The fact Neptune gave them a choice to orbit him by saying "hey moons wanna orbit me again" and not commanding them. He even lets them go when they said no. He lets them chose to orbit him or do whatever they want knowing he wont be there all the time
