MY BAD!! I seem to have cut the section where I show you how to create the connection when I was editing this video. Sorry! Please see this video showing how to create the connection called "ze_workdrive" here: ua-cam.com/video/9iN4-soGPbI/v-deo.html
Greg is a rockstar. I've been stuck on this issue for a while and he was more than happy to make a specific video addressing the issue. Not only that, his teaching methods are easy to follow and effective.
Greg! Thanks for great vid. Two things. folders are being created in Accounts not deals main folder i cannot make a public link to that folder automatically so i can automate it :/
Hey, not sure why this is happening. Double check your code and ensure you are giving the correct Parent_Folder_ID as to where you want the additional folder to be created.
Hi Greg, I just wanted to say thank you for the video and all the others, they have been such a great help for me and very easy to follow along. I really appreciate your work. Could I please ask you, is it possible to add sub folders within the folders created? If so, would you know how to place the code?
So glad you found my videos helpful! I need to recreate this video as there is now an easier way to create folders and then to create subfolders within them! I’m just so busy with client work at the moment, I have no time to make videos. I’m coming to an end of a big project this week, then I’m on holiday and back in mid May. So I hope to have more time to make videos then 😀 For now, you may want to create a workflow rule that runs when the folder ID field is changed to not empty (and within that workflow, run your code to create the subfolders)
Great video. Is it possible to obtain an external link to share via email from the CRM with clients to upload documents directly to the Workfrive folder?
Greg, I would be interested to know how you determine if a third party extension can be trusted. In this case the developer is listed as freelance, but has his company name as Zoho - and there seems to be no way for him to make money from this - so how can we trust it isn't opening up a data security risk?
Are you referring to the WorkDrive extension? If so, it was developed by a Zoho Employee in his capacity as an employee. I’ve looked into it. Also, as an extension developer, I can confirm that Zoho does extensive checks on one’s extension (security, functionality, etc) before they publish it to the marketplace. So I feel safe to trust it.

Thanks Shaun, glad you found this helpful 😀
Great to see a new video!
Thanks 😊
This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Sadly this has been depreciated and it no longer available for use.
Which part has been deprecated?
There’s no way to integrate WD to CRM for free. The option has been removed. Only the paid option is available.
@KingdominQLLC yeah I saw that it’s been removed from the marketplace. Not sure what’s going on with that. I’ll be asking Zoho next week
@@ZohoExpert Please keep me/us posted as to what you can find out. I would love for this to be an option again.
@KingdominQLLC will do! Make sure you’re subscribed as I’ll be making a video about this soon
Thank you so much for this!
You're so welcome!
Thanks a lot
Most welcome! Thanks for your comment!
Greg!

Hi Greg. Thanks for the video. Is there a way to "retro" create folders for existing records automatically?
Thanks for your comment. We discussed this by email and I’m glad you worked it out 😀

Yes, that’s possible using a workflow rule to share the folder and then you will get the public share link to use in the email

I think if that's true then Zoho could do more to make that clear as reading it it feels more like someone pretending to be a Zoho employee
