@@MandRproductions oh I’m not complaining at all. I find it ironic when I need a trustworthy source quick I can find you realizing vids 47 seconds after I need it. Pretty great!
@Scoutrooperstudios I have never negatively spoke upon a set to try to convince anyone not to buy it for my own gain. I buy and sell sets all the time, but me buying 5-10 of a set has absolutely no baring on the other 1,000,000 copies that were produced. For anyone to think I even have/had the means of swaying anyone let alone thousands upon thousands of people NOT to buy a set is literally crazy to begin with
In equally crazy news, a $40 327th trooper battle pack, a $50 turbo tank for ages 7+, and a $200 AT-ST for ages 18+ are all coming out the same day (8/1/25)
So let’s assume this is true and 813 pieces is $150. The AT-TE that is still on shelves is 1082 pieces for $140. The Imperial Star Destroyer with Cal Kestis is 1555 pieces for $160. Maybe it’s just me not understanding but how does this make sense?
This is just my theory. But I think lego might put sets that fall under a certain audience, (utat, desert skiff, arc 170) with a higher price because they know they’re niche.. By niche, I mean in certain sets that aren’t always original trilogy or popular clone wars sets. They know only big fans will want them, so they up the price because they want a profit by the minority. In other words, it don’t make sense Lego just likes money
I think something Lego has been missing is the fact that many people like myself buy Lego sets not just for the build itself, but also for the building experience. Building Lego sets is relaxing and fun and with these insane prices, I want to get the most out of my money by being able to enjoy the building experience for as much as possible. And before someone says "just take sets apart and build them again," yeah no, I bought like 3 501st battle packs and I had a blast building the first one, but on the second one, I got so bored building it that I've never gotten around to build the third one even 2 years later, and it's still sealed somewhere in my room. The point is, building the same Lego set several times gets boring after the first time, especially with Lego Star Wars because 95% of the builds are symmetrical which means you'll be repeating many parts of the build anyways.
Which is part of why I build more sets from competitors now: different pieces and techniques, more challenging builds, different design ideas--plus I'm not getting screwed on price.
Honestly I don't think 2024 can be topped for a really long time. An amazing Clone and Droid battle pack, sets with Jedi Bob Jedi Vader and Darth Jar Jar, Star Destroyer, Honestly those are the only ones I can think of right now 😂
And now I'm seeing rumors of a new AT ST(Likely Endor version) a Clone Turbo Tank, and a 327th Star Corp Battle pack(Probably will be disappointing with those helmet holes.) Can't wait to hear your thoughts on those sets.
In all honesty, I think Lego is just banking on the fact that their sets are almost always on sale. They know the UT-AT will be on sale for like 110 a fair amount of the time. Their plan is to essentially eliminate sales.
I used to have had a near complete Clone Wars Lego collection, and two of my biggest wishes that would have made it perfect were a Separatist MTT and the UT-AT. I doubt I'll get back into collecting but this is still something I'll be very happy to see. Now we just need more Separatist space ships; Lucrehulk, Munificent, Recusant...
Being honest, as long as those clones in the UT-AT look good, good helmet mold, no 1000% recolored snowtrooper (a bit more accurate marines), at least 3 of them and the Ut-AT looks good and designed good, I’m interested in the set
Its so absurd how Lego is still leaving the Galactic Marine battle pack untapped. Surely they can see the appeal of budget friendly sets full of troopers. I mean otherwise they wouldn't have released a second "501st battle pack"
Ashoka's Jedi Intercepter is priced at 0.15 cents a piece, and the UT-AT is priced at 0.19 a piece. Now that's just outrageous!!! Edit:Though it's overpriced if it ever is 33% ($100) off, that's definitely the hope and the price I'd buy it at.
really? i havent heard that one yet. Ive been praying for a Bly fig ever since they made that binocular head piece. and he is one of the few clones who would look good with helmet holes.
This coming year more than any year prior, LEGO has proved to me that (if the rumors are true) they are pricing the fan base out of the hobby. I mean come on. These prices are absolutely outrageous and the fact that these highly requested sets are so overpriced just proves to me that they will continue raising prices because they know fans will eat it up. We need to start putting our money where our mouth is and stop paying these ludicrous prices.
I always say vote with your wallet. Which is why I hardly buy Lego anymore and now buy better sets from competing brands for far less money. I want quality and also value for my dollar. Lego has become more and more iffy on the former and is outrageously out of touch on the latter.
Yep, they want the ‘whales’ as customers and not the kids anymore. Basically Lego is now an adult kids brand, just look at the masses of adult sets they’re making.
Galactic marines are cool and unique, but there are seriously waaaaayyyy more clone legions that I would rather get. If theres no Bacara in the set, i probably won't get it
a UT-AT with less than 1k pieces is scary... you look at the AT-TE and it has around 1k pieces the UT-AT should at least be the same size, preferably bigger
Jesus christ! I buy a CloneArmyCustom Fives then a few weeks later lego makes one. Just bought custom galactic marines and now this rumour comes out 😂😅 Is Lego trying to wind me up?
Im feeling if we get about 4 clones, one pilot, and a Jedi. Im sure it would be fine. Like Forcer says, those minifugres better have their balls and butt printed like never before. But yeah, we’re a bit overdue for this set.
Thank you for continuing to hold Lego's feet to the fire. $150 for an 800-part set is just absolutely ludicrous. There should be a minimum of 8 figures, 10 would be preferable. Captain Bacarra with unique mold needs to be included. And Galactic Marines better have a unique new mold and real waist capes. Lego can afford it; shills stop defending their cheapness.
Im a little scared of the price but im holding out hope that there are amazing minifigs like waist capes and duel molding and amazing prints to justify that price. Secondly maybe there just is a bunch of these amazing figures driving up that price point.

Could you see lego cheeping out on galactic marines in this set, only including one, but releasing a galactic marine battle pack? Granted, this could just be projection as the set announced that I’m looking forward to (mainly to add to the Duel on Peridea set that I bought) is the Nighttrooper battle pack.
This is cool and all but where is Palpatine’s Arrest or a Geonosis Arena? Do we really need more obscure clones? We’ve already gotten so many clone sets in the last 4 years but 0 sets for Geonosis, Palpatine’s Arrest, Jedi Temple, Mustafar Duel, Dooku on Geonosis or Grievous’ ship.
If it’s a large sized set or uses large pieces, then price is good but if not, if it’s like the recent MTT in size, then easy pass. Also better be accurate galactic marines as they’ve had plenty of years to get a correct design, but we saw how they handled Commander Fox.
$150 for 800 pieces, those clones better have their balls printed for that price.
💀 ball printing Lego can’t even print the back of a astromech what makes u think they would print that lmao

Ball printing 😂?

Nope, you're going to get a sheet of ball stickers :D
at this rate were gonna be lookin at a dollar a part by 2030
10 dollars a part sounds more like it
As long as people keep forking over money for overpriced sets, probably yes.
It will come with 2 galactic marines. The third will be in the avent calendar.
Then another 2 will come in a battle pack with Ki-adi and Commander Bacara
you’re so right it’s frustrating 😂
It will be 3 galactic marines no Ki adi mundi or commander bakara because they will come in their own mech sets
Yep!
$150 for 800 pieces for this set is such a LEGO thing to do

UT AT and Turbo Tank are two of the most underrepresented sweet Clone Wars vehicles in Star Wars.
Calling it now, galactic marines will have a snowtrooper helmet molded in dark red, with a poor quality "white" print on the front.
Galactic marines with helmet holes would be horrendous lol
is there a compromise with helmet holes? because i like the attachments and drop down range fingers and stuff
just curious 🤔
This is possibly the best year for Lego Star Wars ever. And I mean it. As long as the execution is good of course.
the set ideas make it the best year. if all this happened in maybe 2014, then yeah, best year ever. 2024 Lego? meh i doubt it
