The most informative video I've seen concerning the Ego. You've answered a lot of my questions. Excellent!

    Throttle?? Engine braking?!
It’s forgivable as most aren’t aware that these terms aren’t applicable to electrics, but we get the drift.
Good informative video. Thank goodness the mic sounded better as the video went further on. Riding the Enérgica was love at first twist ⚡️💨

What perplexes me is people who say they will miss having to clutch?

I’ve been looking at this bike for awhile now and your video was the best I’ve seen. I hope to stop up after the Holidays and take a deeper look.

Thanks for the review! The microphone issue was a bit annoying, but luckily only for a small part of the video. Great amount of detail, especially on the screen, settings and controls. Nice tip to use the kickstand or kill switch to prevent accidents.

Not bad, I appreciate the review. what about battery degradation? I understand the motor and inverter are liquid cooled but what about the battery pack itself? Don't know if you know about the nissan leaf horrible battery saga with air cooled batteries and living in AZ. Some of those original 2011 cars lost 40-60% battery capacity within two years. I own a 2013 nissan leaf that is already down to 74% capacity and its got 52k miles. I guess I'm asking how do those battery hold up in extreme heat w/o liquid cooling? is there a battery degradation warranty?
Not trying to knock you, thanks for any answers.

The skill of riding a motorcycle is to use the clutch and change the gears upwards for increasing speed and downwards for decreasing speed which saves brake pad wear. Also the rider judges speed and distance, listens to the engine and looks at the rev counter while changing gears. In contrast all electric motorcycles are similar to an automatic car which has a CVT transmission. No input is necessary from the rider other than balancing the bike, turning the handle bars, twisting the throttle and pulling the brake lever. If all future riders use these electric bikes the art of riding a motorcycle will be lost forever. Riding an electric motorcycle is easier than riding a push bike with gears. In addition, electric motorcycles are silent to other road users which means people in cars are more likely to change lanes in front of you if they don't check their blind spot, and also pedestrians are more likely to walk in front of an approaching electric motorcycle. All petroleum fueled motorcycles use hardly any fuel so the requirement for an electric motorcycle is more of a novelty than being practical. The most expensive part of a petroleum fueled motorcycle is its engine which can be 60% of its total cost of production and has over 2,000 individual moving parts, unlike an electric motorcycle with an electric engine with only 20 individual moving parts and being mass produced in a factory lowers its cost to only 20% of its total cost of production. The high price of electric motorcycles compared to petroleum based motorcycles means that each electric motorcycle makes a gross profit of 300% to 600% for each motorcycle unit sold, compares to a gross profit of only 200% to 300% for each petroleum based motorcycle unit sold.
