What size weight jig and what color and type of plastics did you use? Im going this sunday. Never fished for crappie but Im going to try. I always troll for trout in my kayak. Nice job man.
I'm using 1/16 jig head and Bobby Garland Monkey Milk color and minnows on bobber. There's alot crappies at that lake, but you just have to catch them at the right time/ season...as right now the shad are active swimming around and catching crappies can be a challenge. Thanks
There is alot baifish everywhere, they're all over near the bank. It's getting harder to catch them as the baitfish starts to come closer to the shallow.
Lol bro some of us fish for fun and to eat, the entire process is enjoyable. Nothing illegal or unsportsmanlike about him keeping the fish. Besides he was tossing them back once he hit limits. Just my opinion. Fish on!!!
