Thank you for this video. I just hung up 3 on my balcony. They were gowing so fast that doing the rope thing was the only choice and this video helped me a lot. Thank you!
Wow! That is a nice big growing area! What a blessing to have all that room to grow veggies. Thanks for sharing your method. We are trellising our cucumbers this year, but love to see ideas for the future.
Do you think it would work if I place my 5 gallon food bags in a line, do the string method, and attach to top of my pergola creating a privacy wall and nice way to pick them? Will those staples work in the food bags?
hey guys, devin here. Looking good, we got our cucumbers in about a week ago. Looking forward to Fresh cucumbers pickles. I know y'all are too great video you guys
Really cool way to hang them up. I take it you only allow a single vine and cut all the suckers off? Love those high tunnels! Great video and info! Keep up the great work!
+CB's Greenhouse and Garden Thank you! I would like to say that i only allow a single vine, but i can't keep on top of that job and they tend to go crazy.
I'm trying this for our cucumber vines this year! I'm also growing our tomatoes this way, well similarly. I wanted to do it last year but my hubby had other plans. This year it's my way or the highway, lol...So, wish me luck!
They will get very long, but they will start growing sideways when they get up to the top. Their tendrils attach to their neighbor plants. Thank you! - Janette
Now I need overalls for my garden. Always something.
Hard work pays off! Looks fabulous

Would this work on very windy days in an outdoor garden? or would Florida Weave work better? Thanks!

How tall will the plants get?

It's amazing that the weight of the cucumbers dont cause them to fall too early but God doesn't make mistakes!
those little tendrils on the cucumber vines are really strong.
@@TheNealsHomestead yes but I mean the cucumbers themselves
Oh, the cucumbers are stuck on tight. It's even hard to get the stem broke without tearing into the top of the cuc.
@@TheNealsHomestead oh i see, mine are flowering and i have them on a trellis! Hopefully they do well, they look healthy so that's a start!
