The right time to plant cucumbers is from March to June, cucumbers are very susceptible to diseases if you do not know how to take care of it (see in the video)
growing cucumbers at home you should make a trellis for it to help it grow faster, cucumbers also need a lot of sun and pay attention to keep the soil moist

My guess: no weeding and keeps soil warm.

Most of the time they put the plastic to keep the grass small & don't grow so fast & some kind of bugs don't eat the leave
Most of the time my seeds don't grow I think they are old

The seeds collected from raw/tender cucumbers will not germinate. You must collect the seeds from ripe cucumbers. Why can't you show the actual seeds, if at all you have grown this?
