Hi, does it turn on or off automatically along with the TV? Or do you need to manually turn on or off the speaker every time you want to watch TV. Thanks.
hi Karlo, actually this was my exact worry before buying this, as if i need to manually turn it on everytime i turn the TV on, this will be a headache. Luckily, this spearker has standby mode, that is when not in use, it auto goes to standby mode and when you turn on TV, it auto connects to TV . I never turn off my Stanmore.
Hi Anil, I have a couple of other questions: 1. Have you ever faced a latency issue? 2. I read that this speaker sounds much better connected to a mobile than a TV. Have you ever faced an issue like this? Also, I am looking for a portable speaker that could double up as a TV speaker as well, and Acton III is probably not portable :)
hi Jita, no i have not faced any latency issue so far, even while playing XBox there is no latency. And yes, i have also noticed that Speaker sounds great when you play music from your phone compared to when you paly from TV. While plaing from phone, the music is much louder, richer and crisipier.
Main Reason to go with Stanmore was the size of my Living Room. Woburn 3 would have been too big n powerful for my room, but Stanmore, though small is mighty, can easily fill up the room. But if you have a large Living Room, suggest to go with Woburn 3.
@@hkmanilb Enjoy the unmatched Marshall experience.. As you have said it's soundstage is too good to ignore.. A worthy investment. Did you get any special offer from the seller?
@@rf_wbg if you like great sound, aesthetic and great looking speaker, go for Marshall, no one can beat them, but if your main concern is awesome sound quality then JBL would be better in this price range.

You have to switch them on and off yourself.

Why didn't go for Woburn 3?
If Stanmore is enough to fill the living room with punchier bass..?

as i bought it in Hong Kong, yes i got a good price. i got Stanmore III at the price of Acton III @@josematthew.
Have you tried the Acton III? I was wondering if I could use the Acton III as a living room speaker :)
@@jitapriyadas9601 yes I tried but it felt a bit too small for my living room. I would consider that for my bedroom though.
@@hkmanilb Thanks for the reply and it was very helpful :)
Does it automatically connect each time u turn on the tv?
Yes it does. When TV is turned on, it shows a message, do you want to use Stanmore i/o TV Speaker, you just need to press yes.
Pls tell your opinion. Should i go for this or a jbl or samsung soundbar for the same price? Any idea?

Super Cool !!!
Ottimo; fossi in te ne avrei presi due e configurati in Stereo tramite la App, come li ho io, suonano benissimo.
that's a great option, wish i could do that, but i have a very small room, 2 will be too much for me.
