"Ashen Demon" was Byleth's mercenary name, like how Jeralt's was the Blade Breaker. It gets mentioned in the support conversation with Hannemen, maybe somewhere else too but I'm not sure.
Alpha is a fake Three Houses fan confirmed (if his character tier list didn't prove that already).
It's mentioned in their profile, I think. I assumed their nickname was common knowledge.
Ashen Demon sounds like the type of name that would be given to an sonic OC.

Byleth is a "Distance Demon" because their attacks are focused on long-range, and they're named after Beleth, a demon. "Ashen Demon" refers to their nickname as a mercenary. They never emoted even on the field of battle.
I saw a post where somebody looked up Smash characters and Google listed "Beleth" with a picture of the demon king from a grimoire or somewhere. Everybody in the comments was like, "Haha, Google dumb," but that actually makes a lot of sense; before FE3H came out, Byleth was just an alternate spelling for Beleth.
@@Nat_the_Chicken Yup! That grimoire would be the Ars Goetia, which contains a list of 72 demons. Fun additional fact, Byleth's mother (Sitri) is named after the demon immediately preceding Beleth.
The phrasing of this makes it sound like byleth not ONCE did the default dance after killing someone and got a nickname for it

Hybrid Mutant He was okay. He excelled at the bait-and-punish, and his reaction time was godlike, but you could tell he is a very impatient player, so his neutral was sloppy. And no, I'm not saying that being aggressive is a bad thing. But with every character, there is correct way of being aggressive, and a bad way of being aggressive. He was on the border between the good and bad.

Since his special moves worked on Jacob pretty well it should be obvious he's going to start using it a lot more often. If you have a problem with not being able to get around someone's attack that would be the fault of your own, not the other player and they should stop using it

Sophitia of Hyrule nah Alpharad is completely aware. He literally does this to expose online habits. If they expect their gimmicks to work and don't expect his to and then don't adapt, it's their fault. King Svg's gameplay was just random/crazy and had no patterns, so Alpha's strat there didn't work at all. At least that's what I think. I know for sure he is self aware tho. He states on multiple occasions that he is "turning off the brain" and "spamming", waiting to see what the opponent will do. Usually it results in stupidity. Shulk actually learned, so Alpha conceded.

To be fair, that's just the way that SSB4 was played. Each character effectively had 7 good inputs that you could spam, and the rest were "mix ups". You only really used those moves if your opponent was unaware of how your character operated. And that was for the good characters. Characters like SSB4 Puff had very little going for them outside of F-air, B-air, Rest, and maybe Up-air or Pound, depending on the patch version. Even then, Rest was more of a gimmick, considering how hard it was to land. And gimmicks were fun to use sometimes, but they didn't win games all that often. That said, in Ultimate Alpha plays Mario quite differently, because the characters hitboxes and framedata have changed, along with the mechanics of the game. Alpharad - as with any gamer - simply uses the tools he has in the best way he knows how.

You were probably told this, but Ashen Demon was Byleth's nickname while working as a mercenary. I forget who mentions it but somebody does in a support I think. Something about killing without emotion or something
The 'do nothing' strat is actually super legit on a couple reasons. You learn who you're playing against. If they stop attacking because they think your controller disconnected, then they're genuinely good people. But then, you realize that you aren't a good person because you punish them for the their naivety.

if anything its the opposite. smash helps series like persona (personally at least), kid icarus and other stuff
@@Duckybacca It does help series, but it's all in the hands of Nintendo to give the game a good first impression, since most people will likely be experiencing the character in Smash first. I think Sakurai's good at representing newly added characters, but ones that have been here for a while like Kirby and Ganondorf feel like your playing as a completely different character. It's why I get a little worried when a character I like gets added into Smash.
I think she'd be a fun assist trophy.

Byleth is called the ashen demon on this stage because it was apparently what they were known as among other mercenaries. You find this out in Hanneman’s C support conversation when he tells you about his investigation into your past
At the very start of the video (0:00), you can see a frame where Alpharad is on the select screen with Byleth selected. This plays for a single frame, bur you can hold down the left arrow key to keep it on that one frame (because it's right at the start of the video).
