Thanks for the video very informative. I have reloaded for over 30yrs and never new about these dies. I saw a video on here from RCBS a few month ago and finally bought a seat from MidwayUSA and they arrived today. It's a lot easier to watch a video than read the instructions that cume with the dies. Your video was short and to the point and I will watch more videos from you. I am 52yrs old but not set in my ways real bad if I can find an easier way to do something I am on it. Just like in the latest reloading manual from LEE he talked about using furniture polish as a case lube and it is the best lube I have ever used and compared to Hornaday's OneShot which is about $8 a can the furniture polish is less than $2. I do run my sized brass back through the tumbler for about 30 minutes to remove the furniture polish. This may sound like it takes more time but it doesn't because I go ahead and resize all the brass that needs resizing after I remove the primer and tumble them then lube with furniture polish and tumble again and when I get ready to reload that I one step that I have already done. These dies seem like they are going to save a lot of time because I used a drill and the Lyman crimp remover and that took a lot of time and did not always give the desired results.
You should add that the instructions say to adjust the rod 1/4 inch below the die , there is a line on the rod for this. Makes it much easier to align your brass to the rod.
Yes, James, thanks. I dont think he swaged the pocket at all because when he lowered the ram, the case fell off. When I used it, I had to give it a hard push to get the case off. It's why I bought the Lee, which uses a powerful spring to remove the case from the tool. 😊
Thanks, good video, I think I'll buy one. I wanted to get a feel for how long it takes to de-crimp the cases, Could I suggest/request that you add video of you actually using it? I wonder how quickly it can be done.
I've found the best way to use this die is to adjust it all the way down as far as it will go into your press. Slide the cases onto the rid and give the handle a firm pull. There's really no need to adjust it to work only at the top of the stroke, it only makes aligning the cases difficult. Using it the way I do it is just as fast as a dedicated unit like the Dillon super swage
Not trying to be hard to get along with , but it's pronounced 'sway - jer' not swage- er'. As for the video ... you helped me decide to buy one. Thanks. As another note .... new brass won't be crimped. Once fired brass 'may' be crimped if it's 5.56 or 7.62 that hasn't been processed.
Lots of new brass is staked and sealed if not crimped. So far, I've ran into PPU and two other brands that have three stake marks on the case head. They are commercial and not NATO. I also ran into a couple of non NATO commercial 9mm Luger brass brands that have crimped primers. One of them is ZQI.

Does it put a bevel to. Thank you. Looks like it works well,
Forgot to say I do a lot of 5.56 and 7.62 military brass.

would this work on a progressive press? like a lee load master?
No, this tool only works on single stage presses.
absolutely not.
I just saw this and Thanks
