A lot of bands use backing tracks. They used a quiet version of Tommy's vocals to add extra effect, but when DL sings, he's much louder, and you can hear the differences. So yes, they are using a backing track, but DL is also singing for real as well

Something you have to get used to when something like this happens. Singers do get replaced because of them quitting or something serious. I say the new singer is gonna do just fine. Don't really care for those who have no support what's so ever. If you don't like the band now, there's no point in pulling a Tommy Vext stunt and just move on. Not hard bud.
You must of never been behind a microphone. He’s using tracking on peaks and dips. It’s vocal control. But definitely live considering he talks right in the middle of singing.
I think it's a backing track. I'm listening on my studio headphones, and it just sounds like Tommy's vocals as a backing track just to fill out the sound. You can clearly tell DL is singing it himself too, and absolutely killing it.
Sounds like DL recorded a backing track to fill out the vocals. Tommy used one too and many other artists go down this route. Id rather they not but its the way it is unfortunately
I'm sorry but this guy was a huge mistake. Using back tracks is one thing, but using with the old singer who you try to stray away from makes it kind of sad. They shield have went with Cristian Machado from I'll nino.
