What happened to Pap is what happened to a lot of ladies holding down their "love" behind bars. Problem is he never saw she was giving him jail house love and didn't actually love him. She was using him. That's why she didn't appreciate all he did and sacrificed for her, and was tolerating him after release. She probably stayed out of guilt. She should have done him a favor and dumped him after her release, like most male inmates do to their jail house love when they get out.

Whew i ain't never click on a video so fast. Knew this was coming.
Remy initially liked Pap for his skills and burgeoning career. But as soon as he neglected that, that’s when the respect went out the window. She was sitting in prison and he was the only one showing up consistently. She saw him as an opportunity and not necessarily a true life partner even after getting married and having a child. I believe she was just going with the flow and maybe she felt she owed Pap that for all the sacrifices he made for her. However, I think Pap was foolish for dropping his responsibilities to lay up under Remy. That just shows immaturity and lack of foresight. Just like we hate seeing Chrisean’s crazy tail self run after a man who doesn’t like or respect her, it is unattractive for a man to do the same. Not saying that Pap and Chrisean are the same, but for the sake of comparison, I feel like he was chasing a dream just like her. But that still doesn’t justify Remy cheating and embarrassing him in front of the world. I hope they can work things out, but most importantly, I hope they can both be happy and get the things they desire.
There is no "working things out" with this. She simply does not like him, does not respect him, and does not want to be with him. That is why she cheated along with her poor character. Hopefully Pap will have enough self esteem and common sense to move on and hopefully he can heal from this.
