Thanks, man ! I appreciate your words. I guess it's quality over quantity :-) Seriously, I4M still new to the YT business and might not have all the tricks yet.
I absolutely love this piece and the way you wrote it. I’m a beginner and have one question. You’re playing your crash at the beginning of measures 1, 13, 29, 37, 41, 45, 49, 53, and 57. Is the symbol in your sheet music a crash or an open high hat? Thanks for your comments as this is my first piece and I’ve almost got it down.
Dear Virginia, the symbols in drum and percussion notation is unfortunately but luckily not standardized. All depends on the situation, the amount of instruments, complexity of the patterns, ... Nevertheless, I used the most common and easiest way to distinguish notes clearly. I used just 1 symbol for any crash, which is the cross in the circle above the top of the first line. The Hi-hat is a cross on top of the first line. No open Hi-hat was used except for "shhhp" sounds, which has a round and a bow on the HH symbol. The Ride cymbal is in the first line. You might focus on comparing the chart with the video. I played it exactly as it is written. I hope this answers your question.
@@Claude_Hoffmann Yes it answers my question completely. Thank you once again for your thoroughness and for taking the time to reply. I’d love to see more of your music.
Hi Virginia, actually only this one comes to my mind. It's a Japanese or Chinese channel, introduced to me by a Chinese student. Unfortunately unknown music in western countries. ua-cam.com/channels/cr7nty2BDC2n2L4mgpKhNg.html
Thanks for your compliments. I respect your opinion about the snare sound, but stand to my snare sound choice, which, I think, is rather close to the original.
Nice version relaxed and groovy, wonderful example for my open handed Students !! Thank you
Thanks Marcello!

Dude, how come the lack of views? These videos are better than many others on here.

Super nice love it
thanks!
Hi Claude! In measure 36you have an OPEN symbol above the floor Tom. Would you please explain how to play this? So much appreciation to you!
Hello Virginia, thanks for proofreading ;-) This is a mistake, I didn't notice ;-). Such a sign makes no sense above the toms. Gonna correct it.
@@Claude_Hoffmann will you repost the edited version?
Done!

Tempo?
I cannot remember! Maybe you have a tap function on some metronome 🥁
Hi Claude - Can you recommend other drum music only that has the scrolling notes?

Btw, I'll keep adding songs. Next one, up very soon, will be Uprising by Muse.
@@Claude_Hoffmann Uprising has a really good drum piece to it. Can’t wait to see it and expand my compilation of music.
Snare doesnt sound right for that type of genre 😢
It needs more tightness
But tempo and groove is excellent 👌enjoyed it

It's a 6/8 not 12/8 piece. With respect IMO you are understating the two feel.
Hey Chris, interesting thought. I would love to hear your arguments on why it's 6/8, and not 12/8. Couldn't it be 4/4 with triplets above?
