Zone 1-- Bankhead
Zone 2 -- Downtown
Zone 3 -- Southeast (Summerhill, Thomasville, etc)
Zone 4 -- SWATS
Zone 5 -- Buckhead
Zone 6 -- East Atlanta (EAV, Glenwood, etc)
Zone 2 is Buckhead and 5 is downtown

I’m from zone 1 but lived in all the zones THE A IS THE A PERIOD!
I'm from Houston, but I'm in ATL right now... That's why I looked up this vid... I know from my hometown and from traveling a lot that things change over time... If a hood (or zone) has enough people it gets bigger and Google don't go by what the HOOD say ... And the hood don't gaf about what Google say... If enough people from one hood move to a nearby neighbor hood they will continue to claim their original hood... And kinda like "annex" that hood...

I came from Brooklyn , NY Lived in Zone 1 and 6 most of the time in the ATL in 90’s early 2000 but lived in all zones at one time . He’s right from when this interview was til now there’s no type of reasoning and it’s every man for themselves. However back in the 90’s there was a cultural center in the West End of Atlanta that kept a type of respect , accountability , Soul ,and reverence within the communities or all zones unbeknownst to those zones what the glue that was holding all together. Of course the youth had no idea. So about around the time when they hit Imaam Al Abdul Amiyn Aka H. Rap Brown with the RICO it was a rap for knowledge of self and the beginning of gentrification within all Zones of Atlanta

Years ago and still today Zone 4 was prominent and middle to higher end African Americans. People from other areas have NEVER lived in this zone until now. It was suburbs and the working class

There was a group of folks trying to tour around visiting the hoods of Atlanta (I'm from Bankhead) fucked around and came to Bank. They ain't even lasted a good 15 minutes
