MITCH! It goes without saying that we cherish you and all your content but I would love to see you actually PLAY Magic for once. Do you have any plans on appearing on other channels or having some more Commander gameplay episodes?
Yeah I probably should have gotten that you were joking but I interact with so many people on the internet who consistently have the worst takes possible that I just assume the worst all the time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
15:12 moraug untaps your creatures and gives you an extra combat after the main phase that the land entered, and only if it entered during a main phase. So effects like overloard's attack trigger and sword of the animist won't trigger Moraug. Also, when playing lands you want to play them during your second main otherwise you'll miss your original combat.
I could be wrong but my recollection of Global enchantments was that only one could be in play at a time. Sorta like Legendary but not. So if another Global Enchantment is played the first one is destroyed.
impending could be something like it enters with 4 counters on it and while it has the counters it can't attack so if you would attack instead remove a counter. So you would just get a land token for 3 mana and somewhere later the body with the attack trigger.
Yeah like pay 3 mana and it’s just an enchantment. So you get some ramp and then works like suspend where counters are removed on upkeep and it becomes a creature after counters are removed.
ehhhhh.. domain decks are insane at all parts of the game because of capenna lands. this card being 5 mana wont fix by itself the void made from those decks losing those lands
I was already excited for this set since I have a horror tribal deck but, I just switched my Liesa, shroud of dusk commander deck into a Myrkul, lord of bones so I’m extra excited to see what we get.
i think Impending is "this creature enters the battlefield with X time counters. remove time counters at the start of your upkeep. it is not a creature while it has time counters.
Maybe all of these groups should play with land destruction, maybe that's what's wrong with being able to mass ramp and then just pub stomp. I know in more competitive format screen doesn't do as well, but they seem to do very well in commander regular
I don’t think we will get more land tokens after this set because the plane is the haunted house so I get the mechanic thematically but we know wizards be like but I’m still hoping
Can anyone help me with figuring out a card i lost? It's a blue enchantment that makes the opponent mill at the beginning of their upkeep till they draw a creature then i take control of their creature. I accidentally lost it one day and can't remember what's it called to get a new one.
With wizards moving so fast on getting out sets and the obvious power creep escalation at a faster and faster pace.. I’m calling it that in just a few years even the most of the power nine or things like Emrakul, The Aeons Torn will be legal for commander. Cause let’s be honest we’re reaching the some huge power spikes with every new set and ability they release. Wizards needs to slow down, but won’t due to its makes money. If they’re not careful they might go the way of Yugioh where if you go first you just win. You can already drop a 10 mana eldrazi turn 2. We’re not far off.
The cards are nice but the art really feels off for the color identities involved. The snake seems like it should be white and the avatar black. I wonder if that's a weird theme they decided to go with for the setting or just that these two cards are off that way.
These are Japanese showcase found only in Collector Booster. Not even the regular booster fun treatment we'll get in normal boosters. So they aren't representative of the set.
So... the exquisite blood/sanguine bond combo is just the deck now? You don't need other cards. Just play dina, soul Dina,? If I'm right? And all the cards that do this combo and you have a deck, right?
The announcement article is on Wizards own website, so duh it's Wizards doing it. This is the part of the 3-month advance preview to get distributors to order their stuff. They do this every set.

@@xeper9458As an example, my friend has a completely fine non-competitive deck that keeps up with (does slightly better) precons, but he has a combo where if his commander is out and he manages to have the second card hit the battlefield he wins near instantaneously. It’s a complete swerve in the power balance of the deck; your playing casually then BOOM, a nuke. As much as mass land destruction, mass bounce, and boardwipes unnecessarily prolong the game if abused, and often isn’t fun because it makes efforts made during the game seem irrelevant, a spontaneous insta-win ends the game prematurely and makes all the progress everyone has made during the game a completely fruitless endeavour. An anti-climactic ending like that sucks
MITCH! It goes without saying that we cherish you and all your content but I would love to see you actually PLAY Magic for once. Do you have any plans on appearing on other channels or having some more Commander gameplay episodes?
What if he doesn't actually play?!... and he i just really knowledgeable of the game kinda like a coach that just loves the game
He was on Game Knights and used to have his own gameplay series. Pretty sure he enjoys playing the game as well.
@@sixtysixstyx I know it was just joking 🤦
He must do shuffle up and play or game nights
Yeah I probably should have gotten that you were joking but I interact with so many people on the internet who consistently have the worst takes possible that I just assume the worst all the time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is my most hyped set for this year! I want to see Haunt be brought back!
That would be fun
Same
Ok this is ridiculous... Modern horizons 3 just released and we already getting leaks for the next set over? Come on wizards....
This is magic baby. If are not in spoiler season, something isn’t working with the Wizard product line machine.
AC set literally comes out next week.
6:45 impending allows that creature to enter but not attack or block

Impending might be like a combo of morph and suspend, comes down as a 2/2 with 4 time counters and is flipped after 4 turns
I was thinking it entered as an enchantment and became a creature when counters are removed similar to suspend
It is@@shaylic3795
something i noticed is that they shortened "enters the battlefield" to just "enters"
Yeah, that's a change that will start with Bloomburrow.
I could be wrong but my recollection of Global enchantments was that only one could be in play at a time. Sorta like Legendary but not. So if another Global Enchantment is played the first one is destroyed.
Archelos decks are going to love Overlord of the Hauntwoods
impending could be something like it enters with 4 counters on it and while it has the counters it can't attack so if you would attack instead remove a counter. So you would just get a land token for 3 mana and somewhere later the body with the attack trigger.
thats a cool idea.
but inst stun already that?
a creature entering tapped with x stun counters
So, the child of Slumbering Dragon and the bit where you place time counters on it and it fires when they're gone?
Yeah like pay 3 mana and it’s just an enchantment. So you get some ramp and then works like suspend where counters are removed on upkeep and it becomes a creature after counters are removed.
@shaylic3795 that. . . actually sounds like some interesting s***. Yeah, I could be down with that.
Not gonna lie excited for this set...also first
Just when you thought domain decks would leave standard, the Overlord said "Hi"
ehhhhh.. domain decks are insane at all parts of the game because of capenna lands. this card being 5 mana wont fix by itself the void made from those decks losing those lands
I saw Overlord of the Hauntwoods, and immediately thought of pairing it with Moraug, Fury of Akoum.
Mitch: *complains about cards outside spoiler season*
Also mitch:*makes content about those spoilers outside spoiler season*
Don't forget Sheoldred. She loves gain life and it's amazing with that creature.
Why they keep making so many combo cards
I was already excited for this set since I have a horror tribal deck but, I just switched my Liesa, shroud of dusk commander deck into a Myrkul, lord of bones so I’m extra excited to see what we get.
Already?!
I would think impending is like a countdown, you can cast it for cheaper but it only lasts 4 turns for Impending (4).
How about that card that lets you untap your lands if you attack?
Nature's Will
I actually like glimmer and up the mechanic or creature type works out that way.
i think Impending is "this creature enters the battlefield with X time counters. remove time counters at the start of your upkeep. it is not a creature while it has time counters.

Curse of Unbinding
Zur eternal schemer is getting a glimmer!!!
We'll probably get tokens of Tabernacle, Cradle, Workshop, Tolarian Academy, Bazaar, Library, etc
Card frame looks like Duel Masters :D

Getting a tapped land token isn't very different from getting a land from your deck tapped, dont really see that big of a deal with that effect.
Watses are a basic land type so that everything land truly is perfect color fixing
Wastes are not a basic land type. They are a basic land, but only the 5 main lands (Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest) are basic land types.
Enduring tenacity and vito thorn of the dusk rose is gonna be juicy juicy
I want this set to have sick art, what I’ve seen now doesn’t please me
sanguine bond snek, wow
The cards are nice but the art really feels off for the color identities involved. The snake seems like it should be white and the avatar black. I wonder if that's a weird theme they decided to go with for the setting or just that these two cards are off that way.
These are supposedly the showcase variants, so I imagine the normal cards look less stylised.
These are Japanese showcase found only in Collector Booster. Not even the regular booster fun treatment we'll get in normal boosters. So they aren't representative of the set.
Everywhere should be legendary like I can imagine people proliferating the ever living hell out of a token that only enters tapped if made by Overlord
There's something weirdly ominous about creating lands just called "Everywhere". Kinda disappointed this card is not a legendary
I'm flabbergasted I haven't seen any Assassins Creed content yet
So... the exquisite blood/sanguine bond combo is just the deck now? You don't need other cards. Just play dina, soul Dina,? If I'm right? And all the cards that do this combo and you have a deck, right?
'Dina, soul dina'
Alright autocorrect, calm down
This artwork looks like a Pokémon card!😂
It feels like we JUST started playing with MH3, and now we have spoilers for THREE unreleased sets 😂 im drowning here
We don’t know what impending does yet AFAIK.
Def calling enDuring Tenacity, Tenacious D
The fact that its a glimmering Snake too 😂
We NEED more enchantment hate in commander and these cards, if real, are proof
I’d rather they wait til a month before the set comes out to spoil ANYTHING about an upcoming set.
This art looks like a Pokemon card. Not a fan.
I hope duskmourn brings vampires
i thought it was fake
Freakn looks like an EX Pokemon
they don't look like magic cards anymore
WTF...litteraly look like Duel Masters cards
Because mtg needs pokemon style full arts 🤦🏻♂️
Game must be dying if they're leaking this much on their own... and yes, I'm implying wizards is doing it themselves to drive intrest

@@alexandredesbiens-brassard9109 talking about it like it's a leak and should be taken with a grain of sand seems highly misleading then, right?

But we literally just had horror stuff
Duskborn? Interesting sounds like bloodborne
These look like pokemon cards, if this is the future, I‘m not sure if I wanna be part of this anymore😢
These are the jp version that they usually print a few each set.
Agreed,.
This is obviously alternate art... calm down. Magic fans are too sensitive to everything
Calm down buddy. Obviously alternate art
Look pokemon cards
It's pronounced 'vissera'... JESUS TAP-DANCING...
First
combos are lame and should be shunned in power lvl 7 and below
@@noneyabizness6094 wow the gatekeeping is really getting out of hand in this game and its sad to see.
Joking right? You have to be if not you are literally saying people shouldn't be allowed a massive portion of the card pool
Infinite combos, I agree.
