Hello Dr. Thanks for this very helpful explanation n illustration. Is this a short or long term solution over bypass surgery? What kinds of medication & how long does one need to take? When can one start working? I’m transitioning career to a nanny. Will this be a problem?
Hi, sorry for the delay in responding. This device is not a solution. It's a temporary device that will stabilize a patient in cardiogenic shock or congestive heart failure. It is NOT a replacement for bypass.
Ultrasound Central nervous system: normal Head and neck: abnormal Face: micrognathia Quadriventricular view: abnormal exit of both great arteries from the right ventricle (DORV) Diaphragm: normal Stomach: normal Abdomen: normal Abdomen: normal Umbilical vessels: normal Kidneys: normal Bladder: normal Spine: normal Limbs: abnormal
How long can a patient be with the device in the hospital, like what's the bridge time for a new heart transplant?
Any advice doctor?
