Best live cover I've found of this on youtube. It's a very difficult song to do live; the mix is very complex and the emotion of it live is hard for any vocalist to hold back the tears.. This was written with so much love by Lennon and McCartney for Ringo (who had suffered over a year in the hospital as a boy with pneumonia) and arranged to be timeless by George Martin. Vocal was well done by John Kramer, needed a little more mic on him though. Overall excellent!
There is nobody anywhere to top these kids. Excellent.
Just wonderful...my favorite Beatle song and I’ve instructed my children to play at my wake. Makes me tear and smile at the same time.
also my favorite beatles song so haunting
A song by John Lennon, sung for his baby son at the time; Julian.
The same thing is happening to me right now, thanks for the post.
Great song from The Beatles White Album, Good job artists.
loved the Yoko impersonation at the start!
The last song on The Beatles White album, great version.
Beautiful. ❤
The opening high note is great
Just splendid!
Great 😢 love it
Absolutely beautiful
awesome. And a fine, fine orchestra!
just lovely. I love all your concert videos. Great job. I sing this song to my grandchildren.
Wow, that was beautiful, in the 70's when I was a young teenager about 13, I would stay up late just to listen to this song when a certain radio station would get off the air, this is the song that was played to end for the night . I just found out a couple of years ago it was the Beatles Ringo Star. singing..duh :)....Sandy (Dan Lee's wife)
Now try and tell me that the Beatles were just a pop band, they could do it all.
My favorite Beatle’s song wonderfully performed by the BW students.
maravilhoso !
Excellent! Oh, thank you!!! You really got it.
phenomenal
Lindo!
Cheers.
* Przepiękny kawałek 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶...❗
GREAT! GREETINGS FROM MEXICO CITY!
I raise my hat
In the record is a flute, not a voice (at the beginning)
You right, although its so high it sounds the same lol
The eight members of The Mike Sammes Singers recorded the sound of a
choir for Good Night. One of the sopranos from this
group sang the sustained high D note during the introduction of the song.
She did such a great job that I didn't realize it till you pointed it out!
