I’m going to be scrap lifting this layout. I made one for my grandson using this paper for is12, but my grand daughter and grandson has one coming up soon. I love this pap😢collection also. Thanks again for Sharing l, I feel like I know you and your kids for all you do.
Thanks for the hints on using busy patterned papers, I usually try to avoid them because they are a bit overwhelming. I’ll be honest and say that when I saw these papers I had no idea what I would do with them.😬 But you always come through for us with amazing layouts and I love the way you sort of think out loud as you put these pages together. Beautiful layout. Clayton was definitely a good sport with his pink crown. Thank you for the tips on how to use busy paper. I'm typically drawn to the bright colored, larger floral papers then find them too busy to use. 2024 Goal - Use those floral papers.
Thank you, he was a pretty good sport and laughed through the while thing. One thing I like to do with larger floral patterns is to fussy cut them and use them for embellishments. I am drawn to them also but do not always have photos well suited for bright florals. Maybe we should all go visit Hawaii more often so we can use those papers 😂

I'm not usually a fan of these bright primary colour patterns, they just feel a little juvenile or something but whenever I see your layouts using them, you have such a knack with them, I end up loving them!
It is funny you mention that, I also tend to associate bright primary colors with kids. I am glad you like how this one turned out. I just finished a layout mixing this paper pack with black for a sports style layout and really like how it turned out, I can't wait to share it.

This turned out great!! I have ordered the paper pack as I always like to have plenty of birthday papers on hand. I wasn't going to bother with the SOTH until I realised that as a VIP the thin cut was even cheaper & I did like it so ordered it. Also ordered the other stamp set with the thin cut banner as I don't have one of them either & it will come in useful for making birthday cards. Now you have wised me up to enlarging the notepad page, I will be running it through my bigshot with the bottom uncovered so that I can enlarge it. I also thought that with the banner, that I would have used a large plate to draw a circle on the pages as a guide! 🤣🤣🤣 p.s. after seeing your birthday cards, I bought that card making kit as I want that happy birthday so that I can make up shaker cards as it looked so fun!!

Testing my journaling that way has saved me from re-stamping or die cutting many times.

Your stories are as fun as your layouts! Many years ago, I was in labor. I had a labor mate and she delivered first. Nearly 2 years later, we were labor mates again!! I went first this last time. Our boys were born first on each day and our girls were born at the later hour in the day. We haven’t seen each other since those days! I wish we would have connected with each other since hearing your story. 🩷💙
Your story is even more unique than mine! What are the odds of that happening? Wouldn't it be funny if your kids knew each other in school. Maybe they crossed paths but never knew.
Not gonna lie. I’m not a fan of these type of papers. I don’t like th busy bright patterns. As usual, your layouts are beautiful and show that even papers that are not the best can be good for a layout.
You are in good company. You either love colors and patterns like these or you run the other direction 😂. Generally I do prefer deeper or more muted tones but it’s fun to switch things up every now and then. I am glad you like how it turned out.
I swear you run out and buy outfits to match your layout pages. 😂😂😂😂
LOL 😂 There was one time I had a paper pack and told my sisters what colors to wear to a day crop so I could use the paper to scrapbook the event 😆
