When I open the obj's in 3DS Max the textures endup looking a complete mess. It seem the models are losing their texture coordinates / UVs. Any ideas how to fix that to get them looking right in Max?
Please! Could Kly_Men_CoMPany do a Spyro editor to put the Super-Whirlwind back in Midnight Mountain s castle and Super Bonus World on the Highest Tower in Midnight Mountain again?
Hey I got the Spyro 1 map to load but I'm having trouble with the other ones... When I extract the wad.wad from spyro 2 into the spyro 2 bat it loads up the control prompt but then when i click on the spyroworldviewer it just stays on the same map from spyro 1?
When you load new maps, they are in the end of the list, so you need to scroll to the end of Spyro 1 maps, then you will find Spyro 2 maps. Or there's another way, you can delete all maps you extracted and then extract Spyro 2, so you will only have Spyro 2 maps in the program
So are you still working on the Spyro Dragon Eclipse soundtrack? And, have you recently been in touch with hoixsoft? Is the development still going ok?

This is very nice fix. Thank you. :) Although the viewer is excellent, I can't help but wonder how were the levels originally constructed. Did the developers really use some kind of in-house editor with all the features to create geometry, texture UV-coordinates and vertex paint, or did they just use a 3D modeling software and then exported the levels into the games? Well, at least they must've had entity placer or something, I guess. Naww, who knows. :|
If anyone gets an error when using this because a file called Obj2Gml.exe is missing, it's probably because of your antivirus. Be sure to add your SpyroWorldViewer folder to the exception list, and you should be able to run the app without issues! :D
@MrModez:3 , do you think it's possible to keep the UVs when converting to OBJ - or maybe convert to DAE or something? There's a project I wanna do with one of the level models but the UVs are all screwed up.
Hey there, sorry for bothering you, but I'm trying to rip some maps from spyro 2, and they look great except for the water, it doesn't look well (gyazo.com/6d0a59408a8fc58835a19666cfb32359), I think it might be because the textures are in .bmp, is there any way to rip them with trasparency, like in .png or something?
I don't understand, are you giving us this program solely for the use of viewing the undiscovered places in spyro, or are you ever going to use this equipment to implement levels of your own in the game "hoixsoft" is developing? if that's even possible.

I know there's a program that allows you to import 3D models into a Mario 64 rom. How hard would it be to make such a program for Spyro?
