The other problem another youtuber brought up is that he doesn't really have a true hp support yet. All the new support units have buffed every dps in some way, but Blade never enjoys them as much as others because he doesn't care for attack.

It has to be boothill he has the highest ST weakness break efficiency in a single turn and does not have to rely on HMC to deal dmg because of how his dmg works which allows him to run other AV supports like Bronya and Sparkle + He actually has built in crit conversion stats + breaking the fodder enemies also provides benefits for him.
Well, to be fair HTB does enable huge super break dmg and abuse the Iron Calvary set ignore def on break and super break dmg. Combined with his sig LC. But it goes up more with E1 BH and E1 RM. The stacking ignore def is bonkers....
but he needs to build his 3 pockets shots first. While fire fly auto regens to 50% energy every fight and can go from 50% to 100% in 1 skill. adding to that she has a self cleanse when she reaches full energy. In combustion mode she gets + 20% break dmg, + 50% break efficiency, + 60 speed, +30 Effect Res+ damage reduction and a self heal that procs per skill. Said skill also implants on main target of a 3 attack based aoe and reduces toughness to enemies beside it. oh and her basic combustion attack can also reduce toughness'.

I have both of them, played a ton both of them, both E0S1, and for me Boothill is slightly better then Sam even he apply his weakness only by his ult. The reason for that is his flexibility - Sam must be played with Ruan Mei and harmony MC, Bootty don't, he can be played with any other harmony or not harmony characters and still do a ton of damage coz his own break mechanic.
I wish Hoyo just change Bailu E4 or E6 so that she can cleanse debuff with the first bounce so that she has a place and rise up in the tier list( I have E6)
Change her E6 to a cleanse, 2 Revives is useless to a character that heals 5k per ult and gives 10% damage Res. Fun fact: Bailu talent is responsible for more than 50% of her heals, and yet people say Ult>Skill=Talent...
@@JA.4 E1 is helpfull in some specific rotations. If you have E1 Bailu and use Vonwacq Tingyun she will allways 3 turn ult doing E-E-Q even on DDD which is her optimal LC, the same is valid for RM and characters with similar rotations to Tingyun. Without Bailu E1 TIngyun needs to get hit to 3t ult while doing E-E-Q.
Boothill has the highest damage, but is harder to play, so it makes sense that he deals more damage. Firefly deals less damage but is much more straightfoward in gameplay.

If there's a character that buff break dmg (not super break )or 4 star lc or a relic set that is made for him or even a break sustain is the same element as him (like ff) for boothill he will be the strongest dps

Boothill pulls ahead to make up for the waifu biase. He dont got tailor made relics unlike firefly and the current buff for the game mode is stronger for super break and Firefly than it is for Boothill.

IMO Boothill's better than FF in MoC and AS. Although FF is easier to execute it reaches its ceiling very quickly Hoyoverse knew this which is why they decided to give her a set of artifacts and ornaments for her however it is not enough to compete with a character that takes advantage of all the offensive statistics of the game. Boothill is T0 easily for Apocalyptic Shadow. Once he gets his 3 stacks with the trash mobs, he's unstoppable in breaking and eliminating both bosses, especially Midgentina.
i pull for both boothill and FF and I can tell that FF selling point is comfortable to use while having ridiculous amount of speed and sustain while boothill just had to rely on ult for weakness implant but, boothill when 1v1 can be quite monster thou
To give my opinion about the "can you use HMC without Mc?" question, i would say totaly, i cleared the cocolia side with Xueyi(full break build), Gallagher, HMC and Asta(also Br build with ER rope) and got around 3400 total point on that side, i also tried to do a 4 star only on the Argenti side by replecing Xueyi with Sushang and cleared without problems with similar results . (at difficulty 4)
Boothill factually just does more damage at similar investment, that’s just the truth of the matter. Firefly however is significantly easier to pilot and get going, it’s a simple procedure between the two really
I think it's gonna be mostly boss dependent whether or not BH or FF is better, we probably can't generalize it too much unless it's for pure fiction where we all know who wins
as someone who pulled both boothil and firefly boothil does more dmg and he is more flexible but require a brain which the community dont have , firefly is easy and comfy to use
While both Bootyhill and Firefly can easily get max rewards, I feel like Firefly's clear is a bit more foolproof and braindead. So, I'd give her a slight edge for that reason since Prydwen's tier list is aimed at the casual majority.
I got full stars as ftp with super break and e6 Xueyi on Cocolia and i just shoved my e2 DHIL in Argentinas weaknes before ramming the broken Argentina with e2 (and e2s1 Bronya)
If I just started the game last week, am I going to have a better time with Ruan Mei or Firefly? My 5* i got from the beginner banner was Gepard, and I have a E3 Gallager and e0 Xueyi. Im 5-10 pulls away from my first limited 5*
ruan mei ruan mei fits into basically every single team ever there are scenarios where ruan mei isn't the best in slot buffer for some teams, but she would still work, while the same might not be true for other buffers firefly is also like 50% less efficient without ruan mei
Ruan Mei. You can fit her in almost every team and with how they're pushing the break meta, she's almost irreplaceable nowadays. Feixiao is rumored to be a wind/hunt/weakness break focused unit, so you can save for her if you want to and she'll be your DPS.
FF needed an overloaded af kit just to be on the same level as someone who only have 30% dmg vulnerability in his kit is insane. Truly a Kinghill moment
people still run Gallagher on FF and call it "fixed" although instead of gala, replace it with asta and she can clear 50 AV less than boothill's prem run
In my eyes boothill is the t0 unit IF you can only have one. Which i dont think is true. Multiple t0s are fine in my eyes. But yeah, boothill has superbreak and "hypercarry" as team options, hes more single target focused than sam, which is the focus of this mode, and he performs slightly better. The fact he is more difficult to use well shouldnt be a factor for the tierlist imo, even if it is definitely worth noting

Reminder to all that slandering Firefly is popular here and that it is made for engagement bait. You could blame the CC, blame the algorithm, or whatever. Firefly and Boothill both perform exceptionally well in endgame, it’s just that firefly is much easier to do + she could do PF really easily
I feel like part of the reason for me to hate Firefly is so good is due to the fact they made her so fast. Combine that with the buffs recharging the ults and she shes’s always going. Speed boots and a couple speed substats and she’s going places.
Idc Clara e3 Jing Yuan and QQ were my dps carries for a while in the beggining. Didnt get Blade until the end of his banner and the light cones the 4star s3. Topaz though ill die on the hill shes TOP char bc shes good in EVERYTHING.

If we're giving T0 to gallagher because he synergizes well with Firefly then it's fair to say that Fu Xuan deserves T0.5 because she can abuse Trends of Universal Market with Acheron.
She is worse than galagher even in this scenario and also even gepard abuse trend much more than her. Fu is just not a good for this rotation of this mode, I’d drop her even more below because her cleanse is much worse than hwehwes one

I agree with shushang should be at the same level as Luka, because i believe Luka should be higher. This meta require break and both Shushang and Luka reduce weakness bar so fast, especially Shushang skill->Ult->skill rotation, although it's Skill point hungry, it's still worth it
There is no reason you can't have multiple units in T0. FF and BH are too close so it doesn't make sense to separate them. Also I think the specialist category is pointless.
Specialist makes sense for characters like black swan or topaz to show that they don’t work well as a hypercarry(unlike for example ratio) while still being very strong in their best teams. But firefly and foothill should honestly just be moved to dps, they aren’t even specialists since they can apply their weakness and are run as solo hypercarry break dps.

Firefly is better with multiple similar HP enemies that has low toughness, boot hill is better with high toughness enemies (and with weak enemies on the side)
firefly does not give flying fuck about toughness trust me, boothill also, both rely on their ultimates to implant but firefly attacks more+ can activate her ult in the first turn whereas boothill cannot

I personally think Boothill and Firefly are both T0, but if there can only be 1, then it should be Firefly. Firefly works on both sides, since both have Fire Weakness, but Boothill only works on 2nd side. I know both can implant weakness, but even tho his single target damage is far greater than Firefly and he breaks way faster, Cocolia has like 50% phys res so... yeah. I would know, I have both, I tested them.
Its a general tier list, weaknesses will keep changing. And besides that, I actually got higher score with my Boothill even on Cocolia who has 40% phys res. Theres no character who even comes close to Boothill when killing bosses. All bosses get one shot with one enhanced basic attack

Firefly so much it doesn't matter if she does 20% less damage than Boothill, she'll do a lot more. Also has a much easier time getting hyper break ready. Firefly also heals herself. Firefly is on par with Acheron (I have both built extremely well both have signature)... Firefly is also extremely f2p friendly.
What spreadsheet is that, is it for individual clears? pyrdwen's own website has on average firefly's best team at a higher appearance rate and score on both halfs. Stage 1 doesn't even list boothill because hes so shit for that half (phy res) and Firefly's team has an average score of 3636 while the 2nd half has Firefly with an average score of 3552 while boothill's best team at 3509. That said, all else equal, boothill is conditionally better, if he can build stacks, he can perform better, but the issue is just that. This isnt MOC. We aren't guaranteed adds in the first wave to build his stacks so he can get going. What happens when we get just a boss? or a boss that spawns adds later? Thats not to say he will be bad, but better then Firefly who can be used anywhere boothill can? I doubt it.
The amount of people pulled Firefly INSTEAD of Boothill says it all. Majority of the playerbase won't pull for a 'weaker' unit just because they like them, lol
Having played Firefly in Simulated Universe, I actually prefer boothill. I genuinely feel like in the vast majority of cases (so far), they're interchangeable. I thought Firefly's damage was insane in previews, but my Boothill can do all that and more, single target. There just ain't nothing stopping him.

You can argue boothill needs bronya but I would argue you can just run him with speed buff supports like asta and hanya and he's still clearing at a decent time but with firefly take out hmc or ruan mei and her clear is dogshit in comparison to boothill without bis. I will say though that firefly might be more future proof in apocalyptic shadow when both has their best in slot just because she's aoe.

This mode was made for hunt characters so Boothill should 100% be better here even though firefly is overall significanmtly better in the other modes because AOE.
personally i think the apocalyptic shadow is kinda strange mod or atleast for me i expected it to be more like 1 v 1 situation just my units and boss that i dont know have like 6 milion health ( over tuned for purpose thank you ) and there will be nothing else but now there are cocolia weird pillars , gepard , argentis statues it just become aoe break mode to be honest and i do not really like it and i still think they should add just one big chunky boss and kill him in time but also i will wait maybe only now they choosed wrong bosses maybe later on we will fight like idk Sam and he will have like 5 000 000 hp and there will be only he alone
Glad i lost my 50/50 to bailu. Now i have the guaranteed for my future e2 sparkle pulls, with bailu i finally got all standard banner units and now i don’t have to build this midfly unit who i haven’t ever heard about. Truly happy about pulling bailu😃😃😃

his build-up is definitely one of his major weaknesses. firefly can be effectively immediately in most stages whereas boothill suffers in stages without weak enemies to get trickshot stacks

If you have E1 Bailu and use Vonwacq Tingyun she will allways 3 turn ult doing E-E-Q even on DDD which is her optimal LC, the same is valid for RM and characters with similar rotations to Tingyun. Without Bailu E1 TIngyun needs to get hit to 3t ult while doing E-E-Q.
Cleanse is useless because it is always more profitable to make sure that enemies are not able to apply debuffs. Just break enemies more
Boothill has the highest damage, but is harder to play, so it makes sense that he deals more damage. Firefly deals less damage but is much more straightfoward in gameplay.

To give my opinion about the "can you use HMC without Mc?" question, i would say totaly, i cleared the cocolia side with Xueyi(full break build), Gallagher, HMC and Asta(also Br build with ER rope) and got around 3400 total point on that side, i also tried to do a 4 star only on the Argenti side by replecing Xueyi with Sushang and cleared without problems with similar results . (at difficulty 4)
Boothill factually just does more damage at similar investment, that’s just the truth of the matter. Firefly however is significantly easier to pilot and get going, it’s a simple procedure between the two really

In my eyes boothill is the t0 unit IF you can only have one. Which i dont think is true. Multiple t0s are fine in my eyes. But yeah, boothill has superbreak and "hypercarry" as team options, hes more single target focused than sam, which is the focus of this mode, and he performs slightly better. The fact he is more difficult to use well shouldnt be a factor for the tierlist imo, even if it is definitely worth noting

I feel like part of the reason for me to hate Firefly is so good is due to the fact they made her so fast. Combine that with the buffs recharging the ults and she shes’s always going. Speed boots and a couple speed substats and she’s going places.
And she still doesn't have her premium super break units.

If we're giving T0 to gallagher because he synergizes well with Firefly then it's fair to say that Fu Xuan deserves T0.5 because she can abuse Trends of Universal Market with Acheron.

There is no reason you can't have multiple units in T0. FF and BH are too close so it doesn't make sense to separate them. Also I think the specialist category is pointless.
Specialist makes sense for characters like black swan or topaz to show that they don’t work well as a hypercarry(unlike for example ratio) while still being very strong in their best teams. But firefly and foothill should honestly just be moved to dps, they aren’t even specialists since they can apply their weakness and are run as solo hypercarry break dps.

Firefly works on both sides, since both have Fire Weakness, but Boothill only works on 2nd side. I know both can implant weakness, but even tho his single target damage is far greater than Firefly and he breaks way faster, Cocolia has like 50% phys res so... yeah.

Its a general tier list, weaknesses will keep changing. And besides that, I actually got higher score with my Boothill even on Cocolia who has 40% phys res. Theres no character who even comes close to Boothill when killing bosses. All bosses get one shot with one enhanced basic attack

What spreadsheet is that, is it for individual clears? pyrdwen's own website has on average firefly's best team at a higher appearance rate and score on both halfs. Stage 1 doesn't even list boothill because hes so shit for that half (phy res) and Firefly's team has an average score of 3636 while the 2nd half has Firefly with an average score of 3552 while boothill's best team at 3509.
That said, all else equal, boothill is conditionally better, if he can build stacks, he can perform better, but the issue is just that. This isnt MOC. We aren't guaranteed adds in the first wave to build his stacks so he can get going. What happens when we get just a boss? or a boss that spawns adds later? Thats not to say he will be bad, but better then Firefly who can be used anywhere boothill can? I doubt it.

Having played Firefly in Simulated Universe, I actually prefer boothill. I genuinely feel like in the vast majority of cases (so far), they're interchangeable. Boothill is just better in general for AS. They're comparable now because of the super break buff, once that's gone Firefly won't be able to compete.
