I think this is a great release method, one that gets the character for everyone, and those who are willing to pay get his awakened abilities right away.

@ChuccTaylor612 I agree but this is scopely piss you off and then make it semi tolerable but still have to pay so you don't feel so bad because it's way less agreegious it's how the have treated the community in the last few years and people settle cuz atleast it's not as bad as CB but it's still not great...
Not to be a nitpicker but this is Scopely’s version of the Annihilators. We already had 3 members of the team Silver Surfer, Beta Ray Bill & Ronan in the game already.

This feels like a money grab because the original team was made up of heroes now this is a team made up of mostly villains. Why not save Gorr and End Game Thanos for another team or added them to the Cabal.

Getting closer to making the "Dark Avengers" team, we need Mac Gargan Spider Man, Bullseye Hawkeye, Sentry and Norman Osborne Iron Patriot. Daken and Moonstone need the costumes. I'm never going to unlock any of them, but it's nice to know that years later they are catching up....
If Odin is not part of Annihilators, which team will he be part of? Any rumors on that one? 🤔 Also if more characters are starting to get awakened abilities, then devs should consider making orange ability mats easier to farm.

Not only are they pressing FOMO HARD with new super power creep team but they are flat out saying your old team are even more out of date as new characters are going to have massive stat advantages. Further increased the advantages buy spending on character shards and red stars/diamond. They really wamt 80% of the community to just stop plaing and uninstall.

Have you forgotten the past history to get any stars on him you have to pay. Characters not nearly as effective at low stars. History of releases by Scopely has been if you dont pay oh well character stays unfarmable for a 6 months to a year or more. Sorry new or players who missed it better luck next time...

To be completely honest, Ares being on this team makes absolutely no sense because Annihilators are mainly cosmic space type characters and Ares is not on the same level of cosmic entities as Asgardians or Eternals so he should of been on something else. Quasar was a perfect option for this team, you know. It would have made sense

You are right he is a plug n play and tbh he's way more exciting than captain britain right now in my opinion. I honestly thought gorr was part of the asgardian Odin team but I was also incorrect. Point still stands Ares being global makes sense to me. Another thing, now that I know Annihilators are probably all cosmic (and mystic) this might be an interesting war team as well? I don't know the details on that but still exciting because I love Gladiator I can't wait for him to come
