- While at the National Farm Machinery Show, we ran across the Plotters Choice seed planter by Kasco Manufacturing. This is a small drill-type food plot planter capable of planting just about anything from corn and beans to the smallest grass seed. From food plots for hunting, gardening, or even small hobby farming, this planter could get it done.

Hi Tony, that Miss Paula explained her product better than any Salesman could have. She went in to great detail and was able to answer any questions. Good video buddy.
She did a great job. I think she may be the company owner, but I am not sure.
There is a machine that can do whatever a person wants. Just amazing.
I may get one at some point. We plan on having a big garden at the new place.
Love Kasco over many others in the industry!
They seem like good people with good tools.
@@TonysTractorAdventure yes, absolutely great people.
The tech available to smallholders is really filtering down from big ag. I can see folks getting together into a machinery ring and buying into that stuff. Thanks for posting man.
Great information Tony. Thanks for sharing
I need one of these planters.
Very informative! Thank you for sharing Tony! 🚜
I don't need one yet, but maybe in the future.
Very cool, now I need to find a reason to get one!
Good job. I’m going to check them out
I bought a like new 4 foot model late in the planting season last year, so I only used it for sorghum. It is a very nice, well built piece of equipment. One thing I wish I had was a different size sprocket to plant the sorghum at a little lower population. When setting the lever for your seed size don't go past the setting you want because the seed auger fills with seed and really doesn't want to come back down to a lower setting. I planted both tilled and sod that had been burned down with round-up. It worked well on both areas but was easiest to use on the no-tilled area. Just run the unit nice and slow so you can adjust to the ground conditions quick enough.
I appreciate the input. It is hard to know what works or doesn't work in the show room. The unit looks well built.
Thank you for the very informative video. Early commentator who said that a group would need to purchase and share the equipment is correct. $8000.00 and up for these.
It depends on a person’s needs, I guess. This would be great for a Hobby farm.
Or if you bought one you could rent it out or get some extra income from hiring it out. A lot of places that whitetail is big business has a tone of small landowners willing to pay to have you come in and just do the plot for them.
I looked at food plot drills while I was at the show but I didn't see this exhibition.
There are a lot of different brands.
Have they made any potato planters for small tractors?
I have not seen any, but I would plant a field full of potatoes if they did.😜
