- Car camping in Japan is incredible! We have never tried Van Life before and it is great for families. Today we discovered SHUZENJI Onsen town and it's Bamboo road. It was so cute that we decided to stay the night nearby and that's when we found the Maple forest with 1000 Japanese Maple trees and a viewpoint over mount Fuji.

Also, we've noticed you don't mix with the locals in the Philippines too much, although they've been super generous to you throughout the years since you decided to live there. It seems you've also kept Story isolated from the local children. We don't see her playing with any locals. Why is that?
@@whereintheworldaretonyandm4819 why do you sound like you're imposing what they should do in their lives? Their choice where to live ,who to interact with,it's all their life decisions and I don't think as a viewer you have the full right asking that way. We are only seeing snippets of their daily, probably even weekly lives. As a Filipino, I don't even want to interact with neighbors anymore to lessen the burden on dealing with a Marites like you.
Living in japan for the past 20 years before moving here in Uk, it's hard to appreciate how beautiful and lucky i am to call japan my second home. seeing you guys how you appreciate and love the place, which makes me miss the country more. But i know one day we will be back there again. Enjoy your holiday, and I hope you can visit the other island of japan as well, like Ishigakijima.

In Japan, you are not allowed to walk around while eating. You are suppose to eat the stuff at the shop you got it from. Thats why their streets are super clean. In some streets , there are announcements on speakers not to eat while walking..
Japanese are taught to bring their garbage back home, that’s why there’s no garbage container on the streets.

We have been watching your videos on and off since you were trapped in Siargao during the pandemic. Why don't you move to Japan then, if you love it so much. Why stay in the Philippines?
I believe you have family issues. I have this feeling that your bashers and trolls are related to you or somehow you know them personally. The attacks, though from different handles, have a commonality that is easy to decipher.
Their hatred are too personal and very judgmental.
The way you raise Story, being Vegan, how you earn a living, your observations of the Philippines, your interaction with the locals. Even your DOG!
A casual viewer would not CONTINUOUSLY harass you.
But a person you know hiding behind a computer would be emboldened. Your presence in the country, but not with them, burns them so.

To be honest there is not much we can do about those people who decide to attack us so relentlessly. So we just choose to ignore them and continue pursuing our own happiness. After over a decade on UA-cam we have grown used to a certain amount of negativity. However we have no suspicions or evidence of our own family trolling us.

However, when someone gleefully declares their pleasure seeing the decline in views and then suggesting that you guys go back to the U.K. and get a "real job" and that Story should start going to a "real school", those are indicative of FAMILIAL concerns wrapped in animosity. Concerns that would only frustratingly burden the ones close to you with your decisions to live the way you live.
At the end of the day, you must also be asking, how is your life right now be of any real concern to them?
