As a person who came from the ghetto and somehow made it out I can only say how my view of Lil Boosie has changed since he was released from prison. I always bumped some Boosie, but not much as I thought most his music kept me in the mindstate I fought so hard to escape. I lost a child and everything else that was important to me in 2013, and suddenly the past four years learning to talk white, use proper grammar and be around "proper people" no longer mattered and I found myself back in the hood looking for solace. I found none, just that everyone I grew with stopped growing and could not even understand the evil they brought in their own households. They wondered how I got so weak. Finally the strangest thing happened and the people I had known for less than a year recognized my struggle and gave what was needed. Not one homeboy did one thing other than smoke my weed and waist my time. I agree with this interview and got mad respect for Boosie. #real
"the white man aint hidin in yo bushes with a chopper...the white man aint tryin to steal the rims off your car" well put, boosie. a little honesty goes along way. respect.
I loved this rap. These brothers are right on target with what's wrong with our society and how to fix it. We need to unite as a people and stop pretending that we are separate from each other.
THIS is why I love Lil Boosie. Most definitely my brother in my head. He speaks the truth!!! He said his grandfather is a pastor--I can see Lil Boosie being the same.
David Storm You must not really pay attention to what he says. Boosie is a wise man, plus what you see and hear is what you get. I like that the fame doesn't get to him; he's still very down-to-Earth. He's the type that could become a billionaire, but would still come chill on a pallet on the floor haha while smacking on a kool cup and Doritos. I like and respect all who keep it real, sadly, most people don't these days...
Ummmm being a pastor, drinking kool aid and eating doritos? I know your aim is to wish him success but kool aid and doritos are toxic. No wise man would put that garbage in his precious body. Google monsanto, GMO's and World health organization. As far as a pastor, seriously? Learn about the Council of Nicaea and Osiris.
U are painting some kind of guessing picture in your mind cause you don't know what type he is, you hear what you want to hear I heard him not even understand the some of the questions man asked him about God and he went left,,he said the same things most people say
U are painting some kind of guessing picture in your mind cause you don't know what type he is you hear what you want to hear I heard him not even understand the some of the questions
I'm a fan of NiteCap for life...P. Bailey brings it truth and positivty. Great interview and I'm proud of Boosie..being from Louisiana the brother has a head on his shoulders.
Finally someone wid a brain boosie is an intelligent fella, its dope how one man is able to still address the tuff reality in life for poverty stricken ppl an the ghetto with a positive outlook on life even after all he has been through in them streets an losing lives an family members dope interview keep it real boosie thanks for havin no fear to speak on everything all blind ppl pretend to push under the rug AMEN!
This is absolutely amazing I love the message Peter Bailey is trying to get across here... I live in Rockford 90 miles out of Chicago and it seems like every artist likes to glorify violence and a rough lifestyle.. and its because the new and upcoming artists have been influenced by people like Boosie... Raising awareness on this issue is probably the most important within the black community. I cant handle what society has came to, and its all thanks to the Media.
WOW!! Great conversation! I have heard some of boosie's music thru my nephew, and I must say that I am now a fan based on this interview!! Never judge a book by it's cover!! He is a real dude, that is down to earth that also believes in GOD and loves his family!! #GOTTALOVEIT!! Much respect....keep on keeping on brother!!
Its really killing y'all to hear tha truth smh be real wit y'all selves..... Not all black ppl are tha same but we all know that there are that some that make our race look bad quit being in denial...stop being lost
Heard alot of bad things about this interview but it wasn't bad at all. Boosie kept it real, coming from his own personal perspective on things. If anyone expected this guy to sound like Malcolm X they were fucking delusional. This is the same guy that promotes drug use, drug dealing, black on black crime, and the degradation of black women in his music. The fact that he was willing to speak on these issues in any depth was amazing. His job is to promote this stuff for a paycheck and judging by him just coming off doing a bid, he is practicing alot of the same things he raps about in his own life, making bad decisions. But, what I loved was that he sounds like he is somewhat aware of and in tune with black issues but just not quite up on the whole picture.
You know what mono means right? I know you've heard the word monotone and you've played the game monopoly before. Any person with sense hearing the context the word is being used in would guess what he was talking about when he asked the question.
Deffinatley boosie's best interview... remind me of a political debate.. I got a lot of respest for you PETER BAILEY after watching this interview you are a very intelligent open minded individual but still have solid values that won't be shaken.. I respect that... Please address some more pressing issues in future interviews you have so much potential... God bless and keep ya head best of wishes to both of yall
This was 100 I salute boosie. One of my fav rappers. I come from that life he talks. I'm from Milwaukee WI born and raise and its crazy out here. If it wasn't for boosie, jeezy, yo gotti and ppl from that era I don't know how I would of made it mentally. By me going through this pain and me thinking is it only me the question ‘Why Me' kept poppin up. Once I heard they music and instantly I knew I wasn't the only one I felt better. I had artists I look up to go through the same and is confiding in me and letting me know I'm not the only one who's going through the struggle but also can make it out the struggle.
I love Torrence hatch. I grew up on him and he was 14 when I first heard him. He's grown so much. He's a real man who has NOTHING to hide. If he's in pain, struggling or happy, he will rap about it and that's something Hard to find. His wisdom and experience is one of a kind. He earned my respect
I just from your show it was totally totally insteresting armar little Boosie how you gave it to him straight forward and I'm are the response of us as a black community I enjoy boosie response to your questions with honesty and truth we may want to put on our blinders when it come to being in this life as you say you do not want to be in that life we must take back our community thank you my brother I will continue to watch you
I'm glad to see some realness still left in hip hop, very refreshing. It's amazing how corporate America comes in, manufactures and exploits black America. This has been done since we set foot on this land with hip hop being the largest form of manufactured exploitation since slavery. Big up to Lil Boosie for not selling out his people and staying true to the real message that young black America need to hear.
You had a good point Peter when you asked him how some artist may have less popular songs with a more wholehearted message. I think it can be applied to all media on a larger scale. What the money hungry corporations want to promote vs. the Independent and freelance artist/journalist. View botting and trolls vs Real people, and real music/conversation.
Ima say yes cuz these black issues been goin on for years and ain't nothing changed. We gotta realized that we gone alwayz be da underdogs towards other races it ain't really a secret as long as guns and drugs are on da streetz it will never be peace I'm not being negative datz a str8" fact u should check my music out on my UA-cam account under "Sidney Boom" I go as hell u gone see somebody gone wanna sign me when they discover my talent.
I find it funny. I have seen both sides of this coin. It is not "cool" to do good in school. Why in the hell are you going to make fun of a person in your own race for trying to get an education. What does a black person who trys to educated get? Get told that they're acting "white". Wtf? You are sounding educated and speaking proper, not white. These limitations are place upon you by yourselves. You sell the drugs to your own people. You limit your educational growth because YOU think that you cannot make it in the business world. Any black person that wants to can make it in business. The black on black crime needs to stop before you come at anybody else coming at you. How can you say it's wrong or fight against it when you are doing it to yourselves? I really like that Boosie shot this shit straight. He did not tell you what you wanted to hear, which is part of the problem. Rappers these days want to keep that illusion alive. Look at what they rap about. Your words and thoughts have power and keeps this cycle in effect. As long as you have a "bout dat life" attitude you will keep being about that hood life, tryin to act like a thug. Doing the same shit, expecting different results. You know what that is? The definition of insanity. Why not be about that progression of your fuckin people and not hating on the ones that want to get out of that struggle? Stop waiting for somebody to give that shit to your people make fuckin own it. Change your lives, change your neighborhoods, change your mentality and maybe shit overall will change for you on the bigger picture. This shit is fractal. How do you expect the big picture to change when the zoomed in daily shit is still being repeated over and over? It wont.
NiteCap with Peter Bailey I believe Boosie was being sincere in sharing his thoughts. I hope he does well in life and parenthood. A lot of what he said is true about our current situation as a people, but he doesn't really elaborate on the root causes of these behaviors. I believe systematic racism is at the root of all of this. I respect Boosie though because when Peter asked him how do we fix it, Boosie said "I don't know". not like some others who believe they have all the answers. I give him credit for being honest about how he feels. Lets give him a break and not cast stones at him, at least he is trying to change. Life is hard for people in general, and even harder for black people.
NiteCap with Peter Bailey but, the interviwer cant relate...so he'll never understand..stop trying to think just because you live in another part of town where its all greatness and birds chirping that these guys will just stop doing what they're doing..its street shit..you ain street..and stop fake laughin, everyone can see that shit..your a book smart nigga, you guys dont work
NiteCap with Peter Bailey boosie didnt keep it all the way 1000 in this video even in the part where the interviewer was talking about everyone puts on a front..its true..people aren't real..
Lil Boosie is a very rare specimen of a Black MAN. I haven't seen a Black Man in a long long time; I used to see many of them; I thought they were extinct.
I like this Peter Bailey brother. He's trying to utilize social media and his space on the internet to engage brothers in philosophical and intellectual conversation creating necessary dialogue amongst young Black men and women that we don't often see depicted in more mainstream media outlets. Props to and much success to him and his show.
thanks peter bailey for asking the right questions to form a different train of thought in our commuinty to understand boosie u gotta come from that and understand that we all gotta learn from each walk of life so we can grow as a community
Lost lost soul, so uneducated and shameful to hear him speak like this....u don't even need school to have common sense and reasonable thinking skills..
Black folks, Do you really want to improve life in black community's? You need to invest in them, with your money, Not government hand outs. You need to embrace free market capitalism. Start businesses that create growth. Open up restaurants & nightclubs that will bring money in your community's & hire local people. You cant depend on someone to do it for you, You have to do it yourself & if you fail the first time, Learn from your mistake & try again.
+ThomasPaine3 but that's the problem right there. What Black man is dumb enough to open up a business in a black community when he knows as soon as they get angry and feel like rioting they gonna ruin and destroy his business, See black people shoot their own self in the foot.
I agree completely.Want an example my young brothers and sisters that this can be done? Black Wall Street.Look up the history that "they" try to keep hidden.
I only recently saw this interview, as of course it's cropping up now in all the feeds. This was a great dialogue between 2 people who think about altruism in our society. For those of you spewing the hatred in these comments, you may only be perpetuating the problems. Every human suffers sooner or later, we need to help ourselves first so we can help each other. Thanks for reading my comment. One love to all.
Most kids in the hood don't listen to music that can uplift them n give them a peaceful mind. Instead they listen guys like boosie talking bout stash of dough, baking soda and crack, and every gun made. So yes the problem is internal and rappers like Boosie are a big part of the problem.Give him a Tap dancing shoe.
This is refreshing talk. Was shocked to hear his straight talk. But the streets will call him back. Just like an ex con saying he will get on the straight and narrow. Most go back
Black people, PROVE that you are not the worse race.....Someone put a TIME STAMP on the point where Boosie says "AA is the worst race." No one wants to sit through 28 minutes of Boosie speaking. Thank you.
rtz549 Thank you. It's 2014, and I see time-stamps on most high-level, lengthy, high-profile videos on UA-cam. I am only asking black people to step up to standard as a minimal and exceed as a maximum. :-/ 100K videos need to be treated as such by its uploader. If not, the audience should be encouraged to submit time-stamped comments. Asking blk ppl to 'step it up' is not 'rude' although it was sarcastically asked for. :-/ #noemotionsonline
I think him saying the black race was the worst in the world was stupid, so what he was saying overall was completely misinterpreted cosequently. However he made a lot of meaningful, valid points.
His music has changed a lot though, he only talks about what he been through but people take it as go do what he did or what he say. Hes just sending a message out like don't do what I did, be better then me. Black people or youth takes it a whole different way.
Bri Smith Black women are seen no different than black men...we aren't even treated like women. Sandra Bland wasn't treated like a woman nor was the little girl that cop man handled. If you think the powers that be distinguish between the sexes when it comes to blacks, you are seriously confused!
I don't have to I'm not worried about them boppers I'm worrying about his kids growing up with no father and repeating the cycle but I'm pretty sure you already thought of that...do you know personally?
He may not have the ability to properly articulate his stance, (yet) but I hope this young man continues to learn and become a conscious brown brother.
Im from Plaquemine Louisiana, right across da river from boosie. We are sa only state with Parishes! Dat says it all! Boosie represents da typical black male from da gutter! (💯) We all are gods & goddesses! Take your position brothers & sisters... we all are great!
I don't even know who this guy is, but damn I feel sorry for him. I find it really sad when poc hate on other poc. We need each other in this white appreciating world. We as one can only really understand the hate and stereotypes we get. This guy is not helping by saying untrue things about poc. Cops are doing their jobs fine, but they were also doing their jobs when our families were getting hosed down during the segregation times.
I just love how an interviewer interjects their own personal opinions into the video production after the guest is no longer there.. Now that's a Real Gimmick right there.
I think many blacks immediately took offense to his comment without hearing the entire interview. In the social media arena only snippets of what he said was put out there and the defenses went up. I think he had some very valid points and who better to tell or know the issues that plague the black community, than a man who lived it and understand it.
First and foremost, classic interview and real talk from both peter and Lil bossie. I grew up listening to bossie boo. "I know" & "set it off " is still being played by me. With this said im a 26 year old white male from Baltimore Maryland with children and an arrest record nothing serious like no felonies right, ive grown up in the struggle, bad neighbor hoods and all. and you see the young boys on the corner for the big man. And dudes jammin are young cause their a minor under 18 so nothing really happens. Jail wise. So to hear if their was a unity between each other and i dont just mean between white or black but with each other as a whole from poverty or from within the community, it would be better and i feel in my heart it really would. But honestly the system is set us up to fail. By making it seem like something its not in music vids and all like oh he's glorifying the bad he's done in life and he made it so we trick our self into believing thats how you get that. And truth is main man just talking about what he knows and tellin us his story and trying to feed his kids. Just at a young age you dont see it like that. So now its a cycle cause a kid giving birth to kids they introduce their kids without even knowing... No education right you got nothing. So if you have a bad start in life it shows down the road. Like I dont have a g.e.d or high school diploma i never really made it to high school because of my upcoming, it was cool or expected for us to be a tough guy, dont show emotions cause its a sign of weakness. Ukno if ukno what i mean when i say that. Now at my age im like damn i should have done better so i could be able to obtain this or that easier, my job i have to go that extra mile just to make sure i keep my position. But im out ive said enough. Classic interview though
Honestly we should stop classyfing by race, and start classyfing by whether we are mostly good or bad at heart. When it comes to people, its best not to judge a book by its cover.
I think boosie speaks about life that kids face everyday it's some parents fault it's not his fault he just speaking reality in his songs it's his way to express himself
When it come to be more realist nobody is realist than Boosie, He's the truth, every thing and every word he say is the truth, Keep enlightening them fools and hopeless sheep Boosie.
It is written in Deuteronomy 28:1-68. Here's the particular scripture that we all as a people need to read and take to heart by taking heed unto it. Shalom Israel !
Black Youth Culture is going to make the biggest change in history for generations to come . MARK MY WORD

THIS is why I love Lil Boosie. Most definitely my brother in my head. He speaks the truth!!!
He said his grandfather is a pastor--I can see Lil Boosie being the same.
yes indeed..........but alot of black people gonna hate him for this, but real is real and i 100% respect him for that :)

Boosie ain't lying. He's one of few artist that i still listen to his old stuff on a regular like it just came out the other day.
Finally someone who ain’t scared of telling the truth. It hurts but it’s the truth.
I'm a fan of NiteCap for life...P. Bailey brings it truth and positivty. Great interview and I'm proud of Boosie..being from Louisiana the brother has a head on his shoulders.

All Lil Boosie has to do is ask himself the same question Malcolm X asked himself, "Who Taught Us To Hate Ourselves?"
You kill each other, so.

I had to Sub to this Channel after this Interview. Realness and Authenticity was Abundant Here.

Damn my boy Boosie didn't know what monogamous meant, but played it off so smooth like a boss. lol had me cracking up.
@Tzfrank how the fuck is there no shame in it just because your dumbass is as equally obtuse as boosie???
TzFrank It's An 8th Grade Level Word. You Should Be Ashamed.
You know what mono means right? I know you've heard the word monotone and you've played the game monopoly before. Any person with sense hearing the context the word is being used in would guess what he was talking about when he asked the question.

Boosie don't sugar coat shit. He did a lot of thinking in that cell.
Depression can be shown through sadness, tears, and rage.....deep
This was 100 I salute boosie. One of my fav rappers. I come from that life he talks. I'm from Milwaukee WI born and raise and its crazy out here. All power to you lil boosie! I love cats who spit raw and unadulterated TRUTH!
Watched the entire video; Tough questions,,, with some very straight forward and honest answers. Journalism at its finest. Thank you.
great interview! thanks
GREAT interview!

What info? Please explain at length.
He just spoke a lot of truth in his comments. What many rappers aren't willing to do when comes to social issues
Word.
Black Men Taking Our Community Back sure did I just said the same thing in my comment earlier brother
Love BBs perspective on life. Guess that’s why I’m a fan of his music & his views on this divisional game our politicians & the media are playing .
17:44 is where the controversy starts, for anyone who got linked here.
Excellent interview
I would love your thoughts on this conversation; are black issues internal?

nice interview.
the quote about African American being the worst race is ludicrous. However, he made some good points about bringing the community together.
That is self hatred at its worse. Lack on Black: Self Annihilation in the Service of White Supremacy, Dr. Amos Wilson
Great interview
I seen the title and thought he was going to say something really really bad, but this interview was interesting.
thanks peter bailey for asking the right questions to form a different train of thought in our commuinty to understand boosie u gotta come from that and understand that we all gotta learn from each walk of life so we can grow as a community
Lost lost soul, so uneducated and shameful to hear him speak like this....u don't even need school to have common sense and reasonable thinking skills..
Most black people don't have common sense or reasonable thinking skills anyway.
***** I'm black. Nice racism though.
***** It's been proven that literally every race's female finds black males disgusting. Keep on dreaming Tyrone.
That's cruel

Dope interview
Great Interview. Boosie the Truth.
Black folks,
Do you really want to improve life in black community's?
+Ray Nely I know you know him....Magic Johnson. He has become very wealthy opening businesses in black and minority communities.
I agree completely.Want an example my young brothers and sisters that this can be done? Black Wall Street.Look up the history that "they" try to keep hidden.
I will always love Boosie interviews.............................................he gone always be real no matter what!
This interview has some great points.
I love him...Wow! Peace and blessings to him
That dap up at the end was real af
That's all Facts right there💯
I TRULY LOVED THAT INTERVIEW EVERYTHING HE SPOKE ON IS THE TRUTH I LOVE THE FACT THAT HE WAS BEING HONEST AND DIDN'T SUGAR NOTHING
Lil boosie is one of the realest rapper out right now. Keep doing your thing.
"The hardest guy in the world will testify against you. He don't have a heart"-boosie
I hope Pete, interviews kevin gates real soon.
Most go back
he's been on the straight and narrow every since he's been out I haven't seen him with any guns or weed
+yunj bea nigga i dont know im not his personal assistant
Awesome interview. Boosie keep it 100
Black people, PROVE that you are not the worse race.....Someone put a TIME STAMP on the point where Boosie says "AA is the worst race." No one wants to sit through 28 minutes of Boosie speaking. Thank you.
17:40
rtz549 Thank you.
I loooovve Boosie. I swear. The boy is a thinker and a doer.
Amazing This should be played in ever school across USA
That's why I keep Boosie in the deck
Raw uncut!! And some real shit!!
That Background BASS tho 😱😱
I think him saying the black race was the worst in the world was stupid, so what he was saying overall was completely misinterpreted cosequently. However he made a lot of meaningful, valid points.
Boosie matured more since jail, proud of ya boo, stay strong
boosie is a Angel..I been through an think like him..But this is a good Convo because Boosie learned an listened an Gave
His music has changed a lot though, he only talks about what he been through but people take it as go do what he did or what he say. Hes just sending a message out like don't do what I did, be better then me. Black people or youth takes it a whole different way.
Boosie... always 💯. RESPECT
Peter is a true pioneer for the people✊🏿 DJVlad should have a million less views and this should b mainstream media moving into 2021!!! JS
Much respect for Boosie
PETER BAILEY IS A LEGEND KEEP IT UP BROTHER YOUR BEST INTERVIEW LOVE HOW YOU CARE FOR YOUR PEOPLE
Interviewer, where are you from? Seems I detect a lower S. C. dialect. I could be wrong.
BigUp, Boosie,,IM another BatonRouge Nigga.....SUPPORT NITECAP,with:Peter Bailey..
Grindin Tryna Make IT!
Best interviewer
They need to put out a "Lock Boosie Up" T-Shirt!
Why?
Bri Smith Black women are seen no different than black men...we aren't even treated like women. Sandra Bland wasn't treated like a woman nor was the little girl that cop man handled. If you think the powers that be distinguish between the sexes when it comes to blacks, you are seriously confused!
Official Boosie I hear Lil Boosie got enough of that in prison...
Lol you want his kids to lose their father????
I don't have to I'm not worried about them boppers I'm worrying about his kids growing up with no father and repeating the cycle but I'm pretty sure you already thought of that...do you know personally?
good talk! ;)
We all In this together
Boosie's a wise man.
I didn't agree with everything boosie said but everything he said came from a real place... #definitionofrealindeed
He spoke some real shit
I don't even know who this guy is, but damn I feel sorry for him. I find it really sad when poc hate on other poc. We need each other in this white appreciating world. We as one can only really understand the hate and stereotypes we get. This guy is not helping by saying untrue things about poc. Cops are doing their jobs fine, but they were also doing their jobs when our families were getting hosed down during the segregation times.
I just love how an interviewer interjects their own personal opinions into the video production after the guest is no longer there.. Now that's a Real Gimmick right there.
The J-Lo part at 23:28 is funny lol He keepin' it real tho!! lol
I think many blacks immediately took offense to his comment without hearing the entire interview. In the social media arena only snippets of what he said was put out there and the defenses went up. I think he had some very valid points and who better to tell or know the issues that plague the black community, than a man who lived it and understand it.
mane boosie spoke the truth on this one right here im from Texas an we know an feel what he talkin bout he truth real talk tho
+David Hartman Hutu. Tutsi. Tutsi. Hutu.
that was a real interview boosie went in
18:20 that's me right there when im excited. I...I....I....Ii.....I...I...i...I...I Lmaooooo
18:01 ain't ain't ain't ain't aint ain't 😂😭😂😭. All jokes aside, I feel you boosie.
It is written in Deuteronomy 28:1-68. Here's the particular scripture that we all as a people need to read and take to heart by taking heed unto it. Shalom Israel !
