Yo I'm a hood dude, but I'm a big fan of Tennis. Been listening to These soulful songs since 2017, headphones on spotify randoms while at work getting through my days introduced me to Tennis, causing me to play through each album. Takes me to the ultimate mellow vibe from the perfect classical beats to her beautiful voice and melody. I'm a fan for shore, hope they drop some new fire and keep it classy from the heart as usual...
I love how everything Tennis does screams artistic-ness and creativity but it’s not done ironically or as if they’re trying. This is just their brand and they consistently make being artistic with their music and videos work. I’m so excited for Swimmer and to see Tennis live in the Spring.
@@nilssonschmillson5395 shoutout to you, did you know that you can write pop music and be spiritual at the same time? Also, everyone experiences stuff differently so your comment is extremely unnecessary on this case, XOXO

I kept hearing this playing in my local used bookstore. Caught my ear because I thought is was some 70's light rock song I'd somehow never heard. Plus I loved the tempo changes. This is beautiful. It's audible how pervaded the production is by love. Every line she sings changes his rhythm in tone, impact, and tempo. They muse to each other an emotional synchronicity.

The drum intro is more inspired by the intro of the song "Don't Bring Me Down" by Electric Light Orchestra.. A band with a song titled "Need Her Love". 😉
Even if they are using past formats, there is no relationship between that and creativity. Your point is neither an answer nor an explanation. In other words, it doesn't mean anything.
I cry when I think of how much tennis music means to me. ...they resurrected my whole songwriting career by making me love music again and from a purer heart than I once pursued it
