  • It's our final day on the Isle of Lewis: Next stop, the Scottish Mainland! We set off from Kneep campsite to catch the Stornoway ferry, but arrive early enough to have a mooch around the biggest town in the Outer Hebrides. As we explore the Harbour, we take a moment to learn about the Iolaire Shipwreck Centennial Memorial. Dave's been brushing up on his Scots Gaelic, so keep an ear out!

After some incredibly unseasonal sunshine earlier on our trip, the weather starts to turn as we set sail for the mainland. We take shelter in a Pet Lounge while aboard, which Tess very much appreciates! The weather doesn't abate by the time we arrive, and so our drive to Clachtoll Beach Campsite is a bit of a hairy one. The typically Scottish weather continues, but there's still time for us to enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful seaside of Clachtoll Beach, gale force winds included. The only word is wow!

After many years of camping and caravanning we've decided to set out in our campervan and explore what more the British Isles has to offer - and we've brought our dog along too!

Tune in for our adventures across Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and wherever else the road takes us.

Rather than buy a ready-made motorhome, we decided to go about things the hard way by converting our Citroen Relay into a campervan. When we're not on the road, we'll also show you how we build, maintain, and repair our holiday home on wheels!
